When March 7th was introduced in Honkai Star Rail fans immediately started to compare her to Elysia from Honkai Impact 3rd when it comes to their personality, their pink hair, their similar eyes. However fans have taken it a step further and actually went as far as to say that March is also Elysia's daughter. Yes ladies and gentlemen this is just like the theory of Adam being Himeko's son all over again where in both cases surround a character with a mysterious past and have been theorized to be the children of the veterans of Honkai Impact 3rd characters. Now I am even more skeptical of this theory even more so than the Adam one but nonetheless if done right so for today's discussion we're going to be looking at the evidence that fans have found that convinced them that think that Elysia and March are related as well as my thoughts and theories on what I think might've happened if March is indeed Elysia's daughter. So without further ado let's get started.

As you guys can see both have pink hair, they also have similar eyes.

And they also have bows that allows them to shoot out ice attacks. As I've said before it isn't out of the question that a child could look like their relatives as I've stated in my thoughts on the Adam theory that Adam looking like Himeko's father wouldn't make the theory of Adam being Himeko's son way to far off because that's just how genetics work so in this case March looking like Elysia wouldn't be too far fetched. And they have similar poses when laying in ice.

This was an image that was found back in 2022 during Elysia's make up live stream that makes it seem like it was confirmed that March is Elysia's daughter however it turned out to be fake as many people including myself went to the source and we found nothing that was stated in the image so it's probably fake. Just thought I bring this up just in case someone else does.
But now this brings me to this question: If March truly is Elysia's daughter how did March end up in the Star Rail universe and how did she lose her memories? Well I try my best to answer that with my own theories. Now for arguments sake let's say that Elysia did date a guy regardless on who it is she ended up banging on the side and Elysia got pregnant and March is born, if this was the case that would make March more than 50,000 years old (52,000 years) this by extension means that the Honkai Impact 3rd universe would be March's home universe so how did March end up in the Star Rail universe? Well let's just say that Elysia placed March in the same ice She was found in and Elysia sent her away to another world. We know that according to March she was frozen in that ice and drifting into space going by the theory she would've been drifting into space for more than 50,000 years which would explain why she didn't age and why she doesn't have any memories of her past. Now another question that is ask is why did Elysia sealed March in the ice and sent her to the Star Rail universe? I would probably say it's to protect her. We know that Elysia died on final days of the Previous Era and we know that at that time the Final Herrscher was around, I think in order to protect March, Elysia sealed her away in ice and sent her off to another universe which we know Herrschers are capable off doing since Bronya did just that in the Sea of Quanta Arc. But with March safe, Elysia would definitely make the ultimate sacrifice to give humanity a chance, and I think Elysia's sacrifice was the reason why the Messengers prevented March from seeing into her past because it would likely be to traumatizing for her and that's why March doesn't remember her real name or her past. But one thing I wanna know is that if this theory is true how come Mei or any of the Fire Moth aware of March being her daughter? Is it because Elysia wants to keep March's existence a secret? Who knows really either way I'm pretty skeptical of this theory.
