Luna's POV

In potions class, I couldn't concentrate fully. Snape was babbling something about adding some mixture to create some kind of potent liquid. Not sure what it does, but I really didn't care as I hated potions.

"Care to share your reveries, Miss Lovegood?"

I snapped back to reality as Professor Snape's deep voice startled me and unlocked me from my never-ending trance. Several of the students laughed, except for the golden trios. And Neville of course. Deep down I felt embarassed, but I thwart myself from showing my real emotions.

"No, sir. Your head is just full of..wrackspurts," I trailed off guiltily, hoping to sound plausible but I think I just hosted a comedy night club.

An influx of laughter so deafening filled the whole room while Snape kept his cold look locked into my eyes.

"Ten points from Ravenclaw. Miss Lovegood, next time pay attention or else I'm gonna make you drink the Lockhead potion before you start class."

*disclaimer: I created the Lockhead potion - one sip and can cure you from daydreaming. Not sure if this kind of potion ever exists in the books. It's kinda interesting if we could all drink something to make us pay attention right? But like any other remedies, it has side effects to the body so lets pretend too much of it would do no good to your health.*

"Yes, sir," I replied. I turned to see Draco Malfoy joined the laughter, enjoying my downfall. Oh well, its MALFOY. What did I expect?

Interestingly, no matter how much ego he tried to portray, I could see something less menacing through his piercing blue eyes. I see a boy who is helpless, somehow hopeless, but not entirely dangerous. And his smile...is..nice??

Wait...why do I keep thinking about his looks??

I shook my head, figuratively trying to get rid of the thoughts. But somehow, my eyes couldn't drift away from him.

Bloody wrackspurts!!!
