The three are seen sitting at a large table. Hagrid is busy preparing tea.

Hagrid: So, how deep is the hole?

Laney: Probably the deepest I’ve ever dug.

Hagrid: How did ya manage that?

Laney: Lengthy story, but the main point of it is one of my Nifflers. They got out, which led to people finding out about my case, which led to McGonagall wanting me in her office, which led to me lying to her!

Hagrid: That is a pretty deep hole.

Laney: What should I do?

Hagrid: Well, you can either continue hidin’ the truth from her, or you can own up to what you did wrong.

Laney sits, contemplating on what she should do.

Addison: If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it's that you should own up to your wrongdoings. Hiding the truth will only get your hole deeper.

Laney nods.

Laney: My next question is, what if she takes my case away? What will happen to the creatures?

Frank: McGonagall isn’t heartless, I’m sure she’ll let you keep them for the rest of the semester!

Hagrid: And if she doesn’t, I’ll look after ‘em!

Laney: Right. I think I was just overthinking this all! There’s nothing to worry about!

Addison: Hate to say I told you, but I told you.
