Using a handkerchief, Vasilyev calmly wiped off the blood splattered on his face.

With a grin, he cracked his knuckles.

"Ah. I recognize you."

He swept his hair up, leaving the injured Logan behind.

"Come to think of it, you were hiding last time too. Just like this."

The boy holding a bouquet of flowers sweat dropped, going out from his hiding spot.

"M/n..I didn't mean to hide but.."

Vasilyev raised an eyebrow.

According to his memory, his name was Eli Jang. Hence, the only person which M/n felt safe with. At least in this world.

Should he let him go?

Of course fucking not.

"Repulsive whore."

".... Pardon?"

"You had a kid at such a young age? I'm baffled."

Eli's eyes widened as he dropped the bouquet he was holding.

First of all, who was this?

It can't be you.

He just knew it. The way 'you' greeted him was unnatural, different intonations and a different accent unfamiliar with the Korean language.

It couldn't be you.

You wouldn't say those harsh words.

But.....

Did he actually know you that much? If it turned out that it really was you...

He didn't want to imagine it.

"M/n, you're acting weird."

"Weird? Pfft. You don't even know me."

Vasilyev was right. Absolutely right.

But.

Eli knew you were lying.

After all, would you happily befriend, sleepover, play with their baby and even cry on the shoulders of the person you were repulsed by?

It's an absurd guess. Absolutely.

But it was suspicious since day one. The day of the festival.

The difference between the 'you' that he knew and the you who called yourself Vasilyev was vast.

"Then tell me. A few weeks back, you promised to go on a trip with me and Yenna. Did you forget?" Eli asked.

Vasilyev sighed, crossing his arms.

"I forgot because it was so insignificant."

"Seriously? You said you were excited to light fireworks with us, build sandcastles and go stargazing. Was that all... Insignificant as well?"

"Yes it was. I don't like you and your daughter one bit."

"...."

Eli was left speechless, looking at Logan who was lying on the ground and then back at you.

"Then assuming you beat that guy for a good reason, I'll be leaving."

He sighed, walking away.

"You forgot your bouquet." Vasilyev said.

"Forget it.

It was for you anyways."

He said, not turning back as he left.
