(y/n POV)
"Help! I need your help, (y/n)," The screams echoed through your mind, you couldn't tell where they were coming from.
You wondered through the orchard, trying to follow the screams. Your head felt like it was spinning as you tried to run. Your legs were pushing so fast they nearly burned, but you weren't moving. Panic was starting to engulf your body, it was beginning to feel hard to breathe, suddenly you hit the ground with a loud thud.
Wanda was staring down at you, her eyes seemed distant, cold, almost as if she didn't truly recognize you, "Find me," She said, her voiced laced with her accent, a sound you've never known her to have.
She put a hand to your head and suddenly you were falling.
Waking with a jolt, you shot up in bed gasping for air, you reached for Tony who was still sound asleep next to you. The clock illuminated enough of the room for you to make out his relaxed features, and as you watched him your heartrate slowed, feeling yourself grounding back to reality from your nightmare.
It was strange to hear Wanda's accent, and because of it you weren't sure if your dream was something that happened in the past, or something you should be expecting in the future. You haven't heard from Wanda since the last time you called her, she had promised to come to the cabin and visit, but instead she's fallen off the grid, not taking your phone calls, and definitely not answering your text messages.
You felt Tony stirring next to you, he reached out to trace circles on your lower back as he let out a small breath.
"Everything okay, Hon?" He asked, his voice groggy.
You sighed, laying back down to face him, running your fingers down his jaw, "Yeah, just another dream. I can't tell if it was a warning, or a past moment."
"Are you worried?"
You nodded, "Maybe a little, it was about Wanda. I haven't heard from her in weeks, and I just have a bad feeling something might be wrong."
"You can try to call her in the morning, okay? Maybe there's a perfectly good answer for all of this. In the meantime, come here."
His arms snaked around your waist as he pulled you close to him, he pressed a kiss to your forehead and brushed your hair out of your face. You took in this moment with him, any moment really. Even after the world started going back to normal, your heart still swells with love and thankfulness for making it through the end, alive, with your family intact.
"Are you ready for our very inquisitive daughter's fifth birthday party," You smiled towards Tony, who was watching you with such adoration in his eyes.
A smile played on his lips, thinking about Morgan, who will probably be up any minute to make sure everything with her birthday goes perfectly.
"More than ready, there's only once when our little girl turns five. Plus, we have almost everyone back."
You nodded, your heart ached at the thought that neither Wanda or Nat will be here for Morgan's birthday. The two people who single handedly welcomed you into the group, the first to know about your soulmate bond with Tony, and the ones who trained with you, and supported you every day since your arrival at Stark Towers. You're thankful for the world you have now, the life you'll continue to build, but there's still the lingering sadness that grabs you every once in a while.
You and Tony laid in bed while Tony trailed soft kisses over your arms, and neck. You hummed in content at the feeling of his beard softly scratching over your skin.
