When Smit noticed the snow, he was so excited that any drama he was facing before, was all forgotten. He was already making new plans and cancelling old ones, as if he knew the snow wouldn't melt.

Usually snow in late October wasn't insanely early, but it was only the 3rd, and it seemed odd that they were having a very violent snowstorm.

Weather does crazy things.

Smit was already naming all the winter sports he and John could endure, but John stopped paying attention at the third one he explained.

"OH! And I also just got my checks so Im resting at 238.6M-" Smit started excitedly, but was cut off by Puffer.

"238.6M?? Thats a lot."

"Thats actually a huge jump from 30.7M, Smit." John turned to Smit, who had a very bored expression.

"I spent a lot this year." Smit huffed, crossing his arms.

"Are you sure it's not money laundering?" Puffer joked.

"It's not, I actually spent a shit ton." Smit shrugged, on what? He likely didn't know.

John looked back to the blank white sky, he wasn't sure what he was going to do this winter, but there was always Smit, Smit knew what John was going to do this winter.

John wasn't complaining, money is money, and when he didn't do anything but sit on his ass, and make jokes with Smit, he'd take it.

Easiest job ever.

Smit was already checking forecasts in B.C Canada, he said they were definitely going skiing and snowmobiling in the mountains.

funnnn!

definitely not a death wish~!

To be honest, John was horrified of skiing, much less in the mountains, but he just smiled and nodded, Smit was happy and thats what matters.

"We can play hockey with Matt, and I'll whoop his ass again!" Smit exclaimed.

Happiness is all that matters.

It turned out Smit was right a lot more than John thought he would be. Not only did the snow not melt, but I kept snowing the rest of the month.

John also now knows how much he hates snow.

It's wet, it's cold, and it gets fucking everywhere. You want to walk outside for two minutes? No! Your fucking wet and freezing your ass off like you just had an ice bath, which is practically what it was.

He was definitely not meant for the cold, and he hated every bit of it, but kept on going because some wind and cold wasn't going to stop him.

Hopefully.

Smit had decided he was going to teach John how to snowboard, which he was not excited for. You got to keep the boss happy though.

Who knows, he might like it.

So, with Smit making up his mind, John now sat in a smaller store while Smit looked through boards for him.

"John, do you want to try tricks, and jumps after, or?" Smit looked back, a gleam of joy engulfed all of his features.

"Smit, I don't even know where I am, do you think I know?" Smit's smile faltered for a second, he was definitely done with Johns behaviour. Full mom mode, really. He had the face of 'your gonna go out and fucking do it whether you like it or not.'

They had been fighting over John's mild cowardice, and ignorant behaviour for the past 3 hours, and clearly Smit was done with it.

"Fine, what's your favourite color? I need to know something! Make sure your not completely brain dead." Smit mumbled that last part.
