Shocking news has reached the Kingdom and fellow galaxies today. Last night, the great scientist Mason Syntian was found dead in his laboratory, having been stabbed by what seems to have been a sword, left to perish in his beloved workplace. Syntian had a glittering career in his years after being saved and redeemed by Syspocalypstar from working for an evil scientific organization, hellbent on abusive experiments on innocent creatures.

However, he became far too indebted to Queen Watevra for his own good, and after the revolution and refusal to build mass weapons under orders of King Batman, the scientists career nearly collapsed, if not for his daughters' aid. His personal career suffered as well with his unorthodox ideas of new technologies to better help the military. Nonetheless, by the time of his death, and years of work to do good for humanity and many other species, Syntian is now remembered as a hero and statesman. Galactic mourning and sadness has been held since, most notably from Princess Stardust, filled with sorrow at the loss of her beloved father.

Already the Right-Wing press, notably the Cross of Fire and Monarchist Action parties are pointing the finger at natives, religious minorities, socialists, and everything in between. Notably, this cause has been led by Louis Night. This is the first major scandal to have broken out since he split from the Cross of Fire, and he clearly wants to make a success of it, calling in harsh and clear terms for a crackdown of natives and minorities.

Many in the Watevra government, even if they lack the same ideals, are also now calling for an investigation focused of native organizations, as well as possibly socialist infiltration, arguing simply and persuasively that these groups were likely behind Syntians death. However, some argue that we don't blame anyone just yet, and a much broader investigation is needed. Batman's cabinet has so far been unable to reach a decision, and the King himself is dangerously indifferent.

As such, the matter has reached Watevra herself, who must now come to a conclusion.
