It was announced today that Marie Stardust, leader of the left wing Liberal Party and Princess of Stardust, had joined the Wyldstyle government, after intensive talks with the RC's representatives. The news has surprised many, as the LP's left of center policies, despite having been toned down significantly after the revolution, have so far made it something of a bogeyman for the right, something not helped by its frequent opposition of the Junta.
Nevertheless, Stardust and Wyldstyle, close friends and sisters-in-law, have compromised sufficiently for the LP to take its place in the government, meaning that combined with the DR, as well as even the Democratic Left of Princess Unikitty and her supporters, the coalition now has a clear majority in the Assembly, bringing the Kingdom closer to a Parliamentary system than any other point in its history.
By now, any move against the government by Watevra, or any other parties opposed to the coalition would generate outrage and only intensity the protests which Wyldstyle is slowly defusing, and so the Queen has little choice but to go along with the governments move towards Democracy.
