Native Youth Scouts

Last year, a scouting troop for native boys and girls was created by a group of families supported by reformist Syspocalypstarians, and traditional elites, all hoping this scouting would promote physical and moral education, character building, a sense of responsibility, as well as duty to their families and home. Hundreds of troops have been created since, proving popular among all classes as many young children and teenagers flock over, drawn by promises of adventure, a sense of belonging, with dashing uniforms including red and green bandanas.

Drawing from the ideas of friendship and cooperation by Emmet Brickowski and Marie Stardust, these kids learn how to camp and survive, sing songs, participate in religious ceremonies, where they parade in uniform, the groups even organize mass retreats and groups of people from all corners of the Kingdom ranging with children as young as infants, with activities that poor families otherwise could not afford.

However, these groups have remained largely isolated from each other, merely sharing values, a flag, and a uniform. As such, representatives from the various troops have asked Premier Lucy herself her blessing to create a Federation of these scouts to permit greater cooperation between the exiles and natives, to which many reformists and the civilian populace greatly approve to better unite society to become a true home of understanding and equality.

However, more conservative members of the government argue this may merely be a ploy for secret Syndicalist influence, that this scouting idea is bad altogether, and that they aren't loyal to Syspocalypstar, but to the Commune. However, most of the population is pragmatic and argue that approving this Federation would help both the natives and exiles to grow closer.

"'Be Prepared!' Give our blessing. These families deserve to be accepted and belong."
