"So, antha ready ha?" Kaushik looked at his wife who feeding Arjun and Vihaan while Shashi was mixing the flour to bake a cake.

(So, is everything ready?)

Kaushik nodded at his wife and turned to the children who completed eating and trying to steal the chocolates on the table.

"Aju, Viha!" Mythri glared and they instantly withdrew their hands reaching the chocolates with a sigh.

"Kaushik, velli help cheyyochu kada Shashi ki," Mythri dragged her husband into the kitchen where Shashi completed her chores and put the batter into the microwave.

"Ido pedda MasterChef kitchen. Malli deeniki nenu help cheyyali," Muttering under his breath he helped Shashi in cleaning the evidence of baking a cake.

"Antha ok kaani, okavela vaadiki thelisi pothe?" Both the women threw anything that got their hands at the point. Kaushik was frightened and ducked himself behind the kitchen the slab dodging their weapons.

"Apasakuna pakshi," Shashi cursed him and the trio left the kitchen.

"Antha ready, nenu thine lopu cake ayipothadi and Vaishu bega raanu ani cheppadu so all set. Meeru velli padukondi and Vaishu vachaka phone chestha."

Kaushik and Mythri threw a look at each other and walked to her room as they are staying at Mythri's parents place.

"Amma, cake evariki?" Vihaan asked understanding only the cake word from her conversation with Kaushik and Mythri.

"Repu, nanna birthday. So, anduke amma nanna kosam cake chesindi. Night, nanna vachaka cut cheddame? Ippudu velli iddharu padukondi sare na?" Both the cousins got excited at the thought of eating the cake and in a swift they already hit the bed.

"Ah, okadini manage cheyyadanike na pranam pothundi inkokalu ante na paristhithi em avthado mari." Shashi murmured and served herself.

True to her words, the cake was ready as soon as she completed eating her food and pulled it out of the microwave. Cutting the cake and covering it with chocolate as she likes chocolate, Shashi kept the cake in the freezer to let it cool till the time.

It was already half past ten and she walked to their room. It was dark except for the bed lamp, the closed curtains made it look like a haunted room to add a bit humour.

Sitting on the edge of the bed, she turned on the lights and saw the four year old sleeping soundly. A smile graced her lips thinking about her. She would be the best decision of their lives.

"Athira," Shashi tried to wake up her who was fast asleep. Listening to her, the little girl rolled on the bed and rubbed her eyes before opening them.

"Amma," Athira jumped into her lap throwing her arms around Shashi. Shashi pulled Athira into her warm embrace and ruffled her hair which would make the little one frown.

"Nanna, evaru thanu?" Arjun asked Kaushik pointing towards Athira while Vihaan was trying to not get jealous by all this.

"Thana, thanu-" Their conversation was interrupted by Mythri. "Iddharu aaputhara inka?" Kaushik frowned as he an opportunity to tease Vihaan.

"Vihaan, thanu evaru cheppu?" Mythri asked him pointing towards Athira. Vihaan looked at Kaushik and answered, "Na chelli."

"Amma neeku em cheppindi inka?"
