My life is a show. I don't know the genre, the plot or who I'm supposed to play.
My life's a show. Everyone knows the lines except for me.

New friends, new characters
I miss the ones I left behind in season one
Season two is great as well. 

Adventures to Afters Ice cream
Wandering the streets with barely strangers after dark.
High school me would have lost it
I'm not her anymore.

Talking to boys in person and on apps I swore I'd never get.
It's exciting and new and strange.
Canceling a date one minute, cuddling with a friend the next.
"I'll be your first kiss." Emotional whiplash. 

I'm behind the curve of puppy love, maybe that's for the best.
I'm finally the main character. Time to put life to the test. (Sept 2022)
