Lauren's POV

For the rest of the day me and Cole just laid around more cuddling then sexual encounters which was a nice change. He took me home when it got late as his parents would be home soon and I can't stay two nights in a row in my parents eyes even if it is with Cole who they trust whole heartedly but of course they don't know were a couple yet so i don't know how they would feel on the topic of me staying over there at all anymore . But today he plans to take me on an actual date as I can finally feel my legs again and I'm really excited. One because this will be the first date I've ever been on and two because I know how romantic cole is when it comes to actual relationships . I got up and looked in my closet for something date worthy and aside from the dresses I have for parties now I really don't have anything at least not in my eyes I don't . This would be so much more simpler if I had some girl friends who could help with these kind of fashion crisis I sighed and thought about talking to my mom for help but instead I called Dalton
Dal- hey girl what's up
L- I need help
Dal- what's wrong is everything ok
L- I don't know what to wear on my date with Cole tonight
Dal- wait date
L- oh yeah we're a couple now you guys leaving we had the conversation and it was finalized
Dal- yes
L- but like I said I need help I've never been on a date I don't know what to wear or if I have anything date worthy
Dal- ok relax I'll head over and help ok
L- thank youuu
Dal- you're welcome
We hung up and after what felt like forever he appeared with David as well
Dal- were here to help
Dav- and we got cole to spill the beans on what your date will consist of so we know just how to dress you
Dal- we just can't tell you what you're doing
L- rudeeee
Dal- sorry love but it's Cole's orders
Dav- and we no damn well you don't go against his orders
L- hush up
I blushed as they laughed and started digging through my closet and finally they decided on my high waisted shorts paired with one of my dressy kind of blouses and pair it with my wedge heels and it seemed like an odd combo like it was cute but odd in my opinion but I shook the thoughts and thanked them for their help. We hung out for a couple hours then they left so I could start getting ready . Just as I was done my mom came in and told me cole was here with a little surprise and that when I get home we needed to have a little talk and I agreed and walked out to see him standing there smiling at me with purple daisies in his hands
L- oh my goodness
C- me or the flowers
L- both but mainly the flowers
C- haha good answer
I went and put the flowers in water and then we left
C- I gotta say baby you look absolutely beautiful
L- aww thank you as much as I would like to talk all the credit I can't cause the guys helped put this together
C- I had a feeling cause they were very curious about what we would be doing on this date
L- well yeah babe I don't exactly date so I don't have date worthy clothes
C- maybe not in your mind you don't but this outfit alone proves you do
L- I guess
He just grabbed my hand and kissed the back of it as he continued to drive. We had dinner then left and got ice cream and ate it and just relaxed in his car listening to music
C- I hope you had a good time tonight baby I know I didn't set up anything extravagant as I put this together today
L- any time spent with you is a good time it doesn't have to be extravagant or anything like that I can still say this is the best first date ever
C- you're amazing you know that
L- I'm definitely starting to learn that the more you tell me hehe
C- well it's true it's one of the reasons I love you
L- I love you too
We kissed and it was a slow loving kiss and when we pulled away we talked a little more then he dropped me off at home
J- ok so I believe there's a story I'm missing here
L- he's my boyfriend now tonight we went on a date
J- when did this happen
L- yesterday
J- I gotta say I had a feeling this day was coming eventually
L- really
J- of course sweetie I have seen your friendship with him your whole life everyone could see there was feelings there everyone was waiting for something to happen
L- what do you mean everyone
J- our family his family
L- ohh so does this mean your ok with this your happy with me and him being together
J- yes but this does mean you won't be sleeping over there Willy nilly like you did before
L- I figured
J- ok well I'm happy for you sweetie
L- thank you mama
I hugged her and then said goodnight and went to my room where I texted cole til I fell asleep.
