Lauren's POV

Due to him never bothering to reach out I decided to quit holding out for hope that someday he will so I blocked him on everything and blocked his number. I put my sole focus into work and preparing for my baby to be here as I'm on the verge of popping any day now. My mom was here with me to help and she would call my dad when I went into labor. Right now I was on the phone with gabe well more like gabe and Dalton cause they were hanging out together
G- when will you tell us why you ran
L- never
Dal- when will you tell us where you moved to
L- probably never
G- so what we'll never get to see you again
L- I didn't say that
Dal- well that's what it seems like
L- I will find a way to see you guys it will just be a bit
G- why
L- it's complicated
Dal- you know we won't tell Cole where you are or anything of that nature if that's what you're worried about
L- I know that it's just
My sentence came to a crashing halt as I squealed in pain and called for my mom
Guys- are you ok what's wrong
L- I gotta go
Guys- but
I hung up and just in time as I was hit with another sharp pain
J- are you ok
L- contractions are starting
J- oh my goodness how far apart
L- so far only a few minutes apart
J- oh boy let's get you to the hospital and quick
L - ok
I got up and she grabbed the stuff and left for the hospital. I was taken into a room quickly and shortly after that I was in labor. My baby boy was precious but looks so much like cole it hurt.
J- are you ok honey
L- he looks so much like him
J- that he does but it will be ok
L- I sure hope so
J- what are you going to name him
L- I think Brandon
J- I think that's a great name
She held him and then my dad had his turn then I laid with him on my chest for the rest of the afternoon. The next day I went home and mom came home with me to keep helping while dad went back cause he's gotta work and once Brandon was down for a nap I looked at my phone seeing tons of messsges from not only gabe and Dalton like I expected but all the guys
G- are you ok
Dal- talk to us
Dav- they told us about the abrupt end to the call are you ok
W- we're all worried here please answer
Dana- helloooo
L- I'm ok you guys
Dal- you were in pain how are you ok
L- I just am
G- well what happened
L- just some bad pains is all but I'm fine now no big deal
Dav- you're hiding something
L- no I'm not
W- why do I have a feeling that pain had to do with why you're running
L- I don't know what you're talking about
W- sure you don't
L- I really don't
I texted them a little longer doing my best to deny anything and convince them I'm ok then Brandon woke up so I fed him and played with him til he went back to sleep.
J- so maybe a dumb question but are you going to let the guys know about Brandon
L- I don't know like I'm dodging all the questions and all but I would like them to know but I know that's going to be the catalyst that makes them all turn on me and I can't have that I can't lose them too
J- but honey
L- I know i never had to lose cole but mom I don't think Cole would be going as strong as he is if he had a baby to handle on top of it all
J- oookkk
L- I thought we agreed I knew best on how to handle this
J- we did I just know you're hurting honey and now you're going to be looking at his mini me everyday I just think maybe we were wrong
L- maybe maybe not
J- ok well I'm going to get dinner started ok

I sighed and looked over at Brandon who was sleeping soundly in his play bin in front of me and thought maybe I really did make a mistake but it's too late now plus like I said I can't ruin Cole's future!
