Lauren's POV

Ever since Cole's been back in my life things have been wonderful! He works all day then he spends the rest of his time here with me and Brandon . The guys still stop by frequently to spend time with Brandon so the guilt of keeping everyone away for as long as I did is still there but I try not to let it get in my way. Right now I was laying with Cole as Brandon was down for the night
C- you're awfully quiet baby is everything ok
L- yeah just thinking
C- good thoughts I hope
L- yes but guilty thoughts as well like usual
C- baby we've talked about this
L- I know but it's so hard not to feel that way when I watch how great you are with him even after a busy day of work and then how all the guys are with him
C- I get it I do but we all understand we are all ok ok
L- ookk
C- do I need to pull out some old tricks to get you to put those thoughts aside
L- haha what do you mean old tricks
He didn't even say anything he just started flicking his tongue til I got the point
L- hmmm I don't know cause that's a very tempting idea
C- or I could just do this
He slid his hand between my legs just gently running his fingers up and down and I couldn't help but think about how everything started between us because of simple things like his tongue and fingers haha
C- I see the wheels turning I know it's making you think of our first night
L- hehe well of course I am that night was one of the best moments in my life
C- mine as well beautiful considering if that night didn't happen who knows what would've happened with us if we ever would have put our pride to the side and admit our true feelings for the other
L- I'll admit I probably wouldn't have I was always too much of a wimp still am in some aspects and well you mr popular Mr perfect I would never think would like the wall flower so to speak the girl who usually dressed for comfort and that's all
C- haha it's ok you can still be a wimp I'll protect you and help you in those moments and as for you being the wall flower and such baby those are some of the things that made me fall in love with you
L- really
C- yes really
L- i love you so much
C- not as much as i love you
L- now I don't know about that
He just laughed and wrapped his arms around me kissing the top of my head .
L- but honestly I do love you and I'm so glad I get to be in your arms again
C- I love you too and don't worry you'll be in my arms til the end of time cause I'm not going anywhere and you're not going anywhere and while we're at it I do have a question for you my love
L- what's that
C- will you marry me
L- yes
C- thank god
I giggled and he kissed me which then led to probably the most simple the slowest of sex we've ever had so we literally made love which I would've never seen happening with us but I loved every second. When we were done he reached in the nearest drawer and pulled out the ring and slid it on my finger
L- when did you sneak the ring in there
C- couple weeks ago I've been trying to find the right time to re ask
He kissed me then we just cuddled in a comfortable silence and I couldn't help but think more on how if it wasn't for David's party and them putting me completely out of my comfort zone I never would've kissed cole and we most likely would've never got together so there would be no engagement and there would be no Brandon which I can't even think of a life without him but thankfully I don't have to all thanks to cole to the love of my life my best friend!
