Revenge Of The Robot

After hours of being knocked out in the cold deserted cabin, he felt Maria shaking him awake. He was still on the floor along with the corpse of Faint across from him, "Kid, thank god you're still working.. I'm sorry we weren't here sooner.." she apologized to Coheed hugging him tightly, Coheed stared into the distance with no emotion behind his eyes.. even though he was a robot there was still a shine of light in his eyes.. not now though. After what he lost.. Coheed looks down at Faint's limp body.. the blood has dried up a bit, but the main injury was still there, at his head, why wasn't he fast enough.. Coheed hated himself for letting this happen. All around him were people from patrol and other soldiers, they were all talking then another woman covers Faint's body with a tarp.

Coheed reaches out for Faint's hand, touching the blood from the hand before lifting the hand to his face. That's the straw that broke the camel's back. Coheed started sobbing uncontrollably with black inky tears down his face..

He wanted his friend back.

The next day, Coheed sits on the edge of his bed, gripping the blanket beneath him and staring at the floor boards.. thinking of every possible way he could have saved Faint. Looking over at the picture of him and Faint on patrol together a few weeks ago, it was nice of Faint to teach Coheed to use a scope.. now he won't get another lesson, and that's the only thing he hated about losing people that he cared about.. they always died or turned.. he hated the life he was living now. Light knocked on his door making Coheed snap out of his thoughts, "Coheed, hey." He muttered softly, "Hey." Coheed responded. He didn't even look over at Lightblade, so Light sat down next to him with his tail wrapping around Coheed in a warm embrace. Light wanted to take this horrible pain from Coheed and maybe make him happier than now, but it probably wouldn't happen after everything that this young bot has to witness. "I'm sorry, Coheed.." Light continued, "But it wasn't your fault, you did all that you could." Light reassured him, but Coheed didn't forgive himself. He wanted the Red Devils dead.. Light looks down at Coheed, seeing the rage build inside of him.. "What are you doing kiddo?" He said looking down at Coheed, "You really gonna go through with this?" He asked. Coheed kept his head down and didn't look at Light,
"I'm gonna find. And I'm going to kill.." he paused to look Lightblade in the eyes, "Every last one of them." He muttered.

He meant it, and he knew he was going to go through with it no matter what got in his way.
