The SIT convenes in the cafeteria early on Monday morning to extend their appreciation to Ramya, Ulla, and Sarthak for the help they provided during the weekend. Sarthak, the trusted confidante of Seyon and Soham, joined Ramya and Ulla, watching over Aran and Kavya. Their collective effort resulted in a day off for SIT, enabling them to spend time at Thiya's house.
Right now, the six cops are gathered around a table in the back. All around them, the cafeteria is abuzz with the morning rush, the staff eager to grab their morning coffees and dosas. Dosas, part of everyone's obsession with south Indian delicacies.

Seyon quietly drinks his coffee while the others chat. As the SIT leader, he paid for everyone's breakfast. Soham and Mira are enjoying delicious idlis, while Ramya and Ulla are savouring uthappams. Thiya mirrors Seyon's demeanour, staying quiet unless Ulla or Ramya address her, sticking to drinking plain coffee. Once, twice, her eyes find Seyon's before she turns to her friends. Seyon returns her curious glances while also sensing the eyes of Ulla and Ramya on the both of them. Their unspoken question is clear to him: What the hell is going on between him and Thiya?
There's no immediate answer. This is not the time for rumination. Seyon hides his smile behind his coffee cup. Thiya shares the same thoughts as the SIT goes separate ways from the other cops. Only time will determine her and Seyon's fate. What happens after the case ends? What will they be like? Will they part professionally or mend the burnt bridges of love between them?
Outside hall 57, the SIT collectively ponders their next move. Good news comes with the DCP's official order. The SIT is to regain access to hall 57, reinstated to inquire into the slasher case. Seyon clings to the order the peon delivered, reading its contents again and again for his team.
"Haha! How many times will you read it, Seyon? Rereading and double taking, that's my thing, not yours!" Soham puts his arm around Seyon's shoulders. The men share a laugh.
