I was standing outside Natsu's so called 'apartment'.

It's a cozy looking house with a wide garden and a pond.

From the looks outside, it's a two floored house.

He says that his brother occupies the upper floor and he stays downstairs.

Their attendants stays across the house, by the pond.

...

This idiot...

Doesn't know what an apartment is.

We entered the house and he served me some crème latte.

I took a sip and I immediately felt warm.

We tried to get to know each other.

We shared some funny stories and laughed like hell.

Good thing that this place itself and its rooms were sound proof!

Man, I missed this feelings.

The feeling I lost years ago.

I learned a lot about him.

I met his brother Zeref, a wise guy and a man of few words.

I learned that their dad is overprotective and they are all really close.

He has an extremely adorable cat named Happy.

Their mom passed away when Natsu was 7.

His favorite color is red and so on.

"It's been a long time since I enjoyed a guy's company!" I said out of nowhere, and I cupped my mouth in surprise for the sudden outburst.

He looked at me curiously.

"So Lucy-chan has a guy friend." Natsu teased, but there's a twinge of annoyance laced on his tone.

My smile automatically became a frown.

I sighed heavily.

It's not like I can hide it forever.

"Had." I started off impassively.

"Where is he?" he asked, sounding interested.

I shrugged and held my head up in the sky.

"Was he a best friend or a boyfriend?" he laughed nervously, I could tell he was trying to lighten up the mood.

'Both.' I said nonchalantly.

He stayed silent.

"We broke up 3 years ago." I said trying to hold our conversation going.

"How about you, jock? Any ladies you had or have in mind?" I asked flatly.

"Well... I had one but I don't know what we are now..." he said as he focused his gaze towards the sky as well.

"Mine left five years ago and asked me to wait for her..." he gulped.

"How can I? She didn't even try to contact me all this years?" he added slowly.

"Listen. Life is short. Just think carefully before letting someone go." I commented.

I turned to look at him and was caught in surprise, when I found that he was already staring at me.
