Natsu POV

New Year passed.

A New year without Lucy.

I feel empty.

No. Im not hungry.

I just really miss her.

I wanted to apologize for my rudeness.

Lisanna and I decided to date till graduation.

I'm still giving her a chance.

It's the start of school since the break was over.

Lucy's not here yet.

I really miss that blonde haired beauty.

My best friend.

I screwed things up.

Big time.

I was just jealous and I just needed assurance.

I love her.

I needed to know, if she feels the same way.

Why did I fail to see the efforts she made, just to protect me?

Why was I focusing on words, when I know to myself that she loves me?

Why did I have to rush her?

I'm sorry, Lucy...

First class.

Mavis isn't even here.

We got a boring substitute teacher.

He just handed us some paperwork and never bothered to discuss.

The class was rowdy.

What caught my attention, was a blue haired girl staring at oblivion.

Levy.

She was seating on Lucy's chair in the corner.

She was just looking outside, eyes filled with sadness and longing.

I sat on the empty chair beside her.

"Hey Levy?" I asked, catching her attention.

"Oh Natsu. What are you doing here?" she questioned.

"Where's Lucy?" I asked her, not minding that she asked me a question.

"Chicago." She sighed and looked outside the window.

"You knew? About him?" I asked in disbelief.

"I guessed. She told me little information about the prince. But, she never told me the whole story." She answered sadly.

"Do you know, when she's coming back?" I asked.

"It should be around this week or next week." She sighed heavily.

"Shouldn't you know about this?' she asked, eyeing me suspiciously.

'Well... we kind of... sort of... had a fight..." I answered, sounding embarrassed.

"What did you fight about?" she asked, looking interested.

"I kind of forced her to tell me what she was hiding from me." I answered and her eyes widen in rage.

"What have you done?" She fumed.

"Even I was curious about it too but, I never questioned her! I was friends with her for 3 years, Natsu! What gives you the right to demand such a thing? All I know was that one day, she'll eventually open up! We are both her best friends, we should be the first ones to understand!" she continued, enraged.
