-Third week of October; Friday-

I received a text from Romeo that he was passing by our school today.

I was still debating if I should wear my nerd outfit or not.

It's Romeo.

I can never act fake in front of him.

I promised him to make Romeo happy and take care of him at all times.

"Hey Lucy, you okay?" Natsu poked me on the cheek to snap me back to reality.

I sighed heavily.

"Hey Natsu, do you think it's time I should come clean of my real appearance to school yet?" I asked him.

"And the reason is?" he asked skeptically.

"Romeo's coming over to school and I promised to tour him around." I say simply.

"Definitely NOT!" he roared and walked out of my room angrily.

We only have an hour and 30 minutes left before school to decide.

And just like heaven answered my prayers, my phone vibrated.

From: Romeo

Lucy-nee, I may have to come by later this afternoon. Father came home from his business trip and decided to spend a little time with me this morning!

See you later Lucy-nee!

And just like that, my breathing became normal again.

I wore my nerd outfit and grabbed a light blue dress from my closet and dropped it on my bag.

Natsu knocked on the door to check if I was ready.

I came out of my room with my disguise and Natsu showed a goofy grin.

His transitions are...

Disturbing.

Worse than my mother's.

We ate in silence and walked off to school.

"Hey Lucy?" Natsu asked and broke the silent atmosphere between us.

"Hmm?" I asked as I turn to him.

"Who's Romeo?" he asked nervously.

"Oh. I forgot to mention him to you!" I remembered.

"Romeo is Rogue's cousin." I added.

Silence.

Weird.

"So, is he going to attend our school now or something?" he asked, looking annoyed.

"Huh? What do you mean?" I asked with confusion.

"Well, you mentioned that you were going to tour him around school, so I thought that he's interested in attending our school." He explained.

"Well, yeah. He really wanted to attend our school in the future." I said simply.

He stopped on his track and turned to me.

"Future?" he asked dubiously.

"Yup. You see, Romeo's only twelve so he's still too young for our school." I tilt my head in confusion.

I watched his blood makes its way to his face, progressively, and he turned away then continued walking.

Whatever the heck he's thinking, must be really embarrassing.
