Allison stood in her room when she heard a knock on her door. "Come in!" She yelled. "I need your help," Elena said as she walked into the room. "Shouldn't you be at school?" Allison asked her. "Shouldn't you?" Elena responded. "Touché. What's up?" Allison asked as she sat on her bed.  "Rose's friend has information on Klaus and I need you to help me convince her to go take me to him," Elena told her. "Do my brothers know about this?" Allison asked her. "No," Elena told her. "Great let's go," Allison said as she got up and went downstairs, Elena following behind.

"We need to talk to you," Allison said as she found Rose in the living room. "What is it?" She asked. "You should probably put some clothes on," Allison told her as she noticed she was only in her robe. "Right," Rose said before leaving the room to change.

"It's a bad idea," Rose said. "No, it's not. From what Stefan told me, your friend Slater obviously has more information about Klaus. You and Damon just gave up before you got it." Elena told her. "Because somebody blew up a coffee show with us in it," Rose said. "There's more to learn. We just have to find a way to learn it." Elena said. "Why are you coming to me with this?" Rose asked.

"Because you owe us," Allison said. "One word from me, and Damon and Stefan could have killed you for kidnapping me and Allison," Elena said. "Or maybe it's because you know that they wouldn't want you doing this. And their moonstone caller gives you a chance to sneak away." Rose said. "We're having a disagreement okay? They're willing to risk everyone that I love and I'm not." Elena said. "They're just trying to protect you," Rose told her. "And you've proven that you couldn't care less whether I'm protected or not. So we're back to you taking us to Slater." Elena said.

"What exactly do you hope to achieve by this?" Rose asked. "How would you like to be able to walk during the daylight?" Elena asked. "I've been a slave to shadows for 500 years. What do you think?" Rose asked her. "I think Allison will be willing to help you if you're willing to make a deal," Elena told her.

Rose had driven them to Slater's apartment. She knocked on the door and waited for an answer as Elena and Allison finally reached the top of the stairs. "Slater! Slater, it's Rose open up! He's not home sorry." Rose told them. "Mm-mm. No. We didn't come all the way out here for nothing." Elena said. Allison rolled her eyes and went up to the door kicking it open then walked inside. "After you," Rose told Elena.

"Slater?" Rose called out as they looked around the apartment. "I don't think he's gonna be much help," Allison said as she turned her head and saw Slater's body with a stake in his chest. Elena gasped as she saw what Rose and Allison found. Rose walked up to Slater and dragged his body.

"Looks like whoever blew up the coffee shop found him and killed him for information," Elena said as she went up to Slater's desk and looked through papers. "Yeah. Probably to stop him from helping people like us. The guy was a vampire almanac. Knowing too much information just bit him in the ass." Rose said as she went to open the blinds. "What are you..." Elena started but Rose interrupted. "Tempered glass. UV rays can't penetrate. I used to just come here and watch the day." Rose said as she looked out the window. "I'm sorry about Slater," Elena told her. "Any luck?" Rose asked. "Um, it's password protected. I can't get in." Elena said as she tried opening his computer. "Then this is pointless. Let's just go," Rose said as she grabbed the frame Allison was holding out of her hand and started walking out.
