Opportunity

I was eating with several other women when Tess came running into the room with a huge smile on her face. She ran up to me and the women around the room immediately began talking to the guards to distract them.

"Woah slow down Tess what's going on?" I asked

"There's going to be a meeting between Sorin and the other world leaders. They will all be here in a week!" She said, "All of us are required to attend along with all of the other leaders' women."

I stared at her for a second before fully understanding what she was saying. If all of the women were together under one roof at the same place then we would outnumber the men A hundred to one.... we could take this world back.

"Tess I am going to need as much intelligence from you as possible. We may be changing plans." I said

Tess nodded and I felt someone tap my shoulder. I spun around only to find myself looking at a woman I had never met before. She had dark black hair and narrow brown eyes. Her skin was golden like she had spent her life in the sun. A strong connection between her and I told me that she was a friend.

"Ummm excuse me ma'am?" She whispered

"Please just call me Asteria. What's your name?" I asked

"My name is Natia I'm an island spirit. I need to speak with you urgently." She said

I nodded for her to go on and we sat down. She took a deep breath and her brown eyes turned an astounding blue color.

"There is an island know only by Amazons. It has been calling to you, but you have yet to answer it. It is unknown by men and hidden from everyone but the Amazons. It is your home and it welcomes every woman you bring to it." She whispered

I froze. This is something I had never been prepared for. I was ready to hide as many of the women as I could and travel just as I had done, but knowing how many women I would have to protect that seemed impossible. Attacking the world leaders and taking over seemed doable, but that would cause war. If it is possible to get all of these women to safety with minimal casualties, then there is no other option. But, I don't know how I would find this place..... I've never had a home, much less thought of having one.

"Asteria, you are an Amazon. The island is your home and only you will be able to find it. When the time comes I will help guide you. The island is now part of you as it has become part of me." Natia said

Her eyes faded back to brown and she coughed holding onto her collar. Her skin paled and she looked tired. The collars kept us from using our abilities through the metals they were created with. Natia had been able to get past that as I had done in the past, but it tool more energy than she had at the moment.

"Natia I will get us there I promise. Tess will take you back to your room to rest." I said

Tess helped Natia up and they walked towards the exit. I looked around the room to find nearly all guards distracted by women. They flirted casually while others played games like chess with them. I stood up to leave, but a hand grabbed my arm. I pulled away only to be dragged behind a changing curtain. I turned to face the person only to find myslef staring into the eyes of a guard. He had dark black eyes, hair, and skin. I felt a strong tug in my viens when I looked at him. Something told me that he had heard everything. I was prepared to kill him if I had too, but I didn't want to risk our plans. He dropped to one knee in front of me.

"If you're going to escape, then Sorin needs to belive you are submissive to him. He wants you and if you let him think he has you then I can help you all get out safely." He said
