The laughter of a male and female child echoes within a void as a black box with two locks on it, shakes a couple times. Something calls you to open this box.
You take several steps towards the box as the laughter grows louder and louder.
"OpenitopenitOPENITOPENIT!" The child's voices shout at you. "OPENITOPENITOPENITOPENIT!"
The voices grow louder and louder as you stand in front of the violently shaking box.
"OPENITOPENITOPENITOPENIT!"
Your mind's telling you to not open it, as the feeling of dread creeps in, but your body disagrees with the mind. You grab the first lock and it comes loose, allowing you to take it off. A burst of energy shoots out from around the box, knocking you back.
"YESYESYESYESYESOPENITOPENIT" The children's voices grow excited and louder.
Your mind tells you to run away as fast as your legs could take you, but your body still moves on its own. You grab the second lock of the violently shaking box, and the lock comes loose. A burst of energy sends you flying back a few meters and you roughly land on your back.
The box goes still as the voices go quiet. You prop yourself up and stare at the black box. The lid flips open as a glitchy voice laughs as a golden animatronic hand starts to come out from the box.
Until a hand with orange palm, white fingers and purple nails slams the lid shut. The locks reappear on the box as a glitchy voice echoes around the void.
"So-Some things are best lef-left forgotten-n-n."
The hand pulls the box with it as they both disappear into the darkness, leaving you behind.
