The Madrid sun was shining as the wedding ceremony was taking place. Set outdoors in one of the private gardens of a mansion they rented for the weekend, stood the glowing bride and groom. 

As the beautiful vows had concluded, a fews sniffled and silent sobs could be heard in the crowd. 

"Do you George William Russell take Carmen to be your lawfully wedded wife?

"I do."

"And do you, Carmen Montero Mundt take George to be your lawfully wedded husband?

"I do."

"By the power vested in me, in the presence of God and the witness of friends and family, it is my great privilege to pronounce you husband and wife! You may now kiss the bride!"

George pulled Carmen close, tipping her down and kissing her passionately. The two of them faced the crowd and Carmen lifted her bouquet in the air, excitedly. 

The entire crowd, stood up and cheered for the newlyweds. Ruby who stood on the side of Carmen as one of her bridesmaids, shed a few tears seeing her good friend marry the love of her life. Her eyes searched in the crowd, landing on Lewis who looked equally emotional from the ceremony. Lewis patted his hand on his chest three times, their secret code for 'I love you.'

As Carmen and George made their way down the aisle, hand in hand, the bridal party followed behind them. Ruby and Lando interlinked arms again, following behind Alex and George's cousin. Everyone's eyes were puffy from shedding some tears. The couple was so loved by their friends. 

It was time for everyone to get to the reception. The bridesmaids and groomsmen took a party bus over to the reception hall together, while Carmen and George took a limo. Everyone was excited to drink, dance and enjoy the fact that all their friends were together.

Ruby shot a quick text to Lewis letting him know she'd see him soon. For two years they've kept their relationship a secret. Only a handful of friends knew, aside from their family. They decided they would keep lowkey at this wedding, as to not draw attention to themselves. Ruby was a bit sad that they decided that, but figured it would be for the better. 

The bridal party lined up by the doors again, ready to make their dramatic entrance. Carmen and George had told them to have fun with their entrances so of course Lando took that to the next level. He had gotten Ruby and himself a pair of ray bans to wear while dancing to the song he chose. 

The DJ cued them to enter next after the pair ahead of them. The music started and Ruby and Lando crazily started dancing and jumping their way into the hall. They threw their sunglasses across the dance floor, each of them doing a silly dance-off with each other. The crowd was whistling and cheering for them.

They took their respective positions on the side of the dance floor, waiting for the couple to enter. Ruby held her breath watching an angelic Carmen, in her changed dress, enter. The first dance started playing and everyone took their seats. Ruby was at the table with all the bridal party, while Lewis was sitting with some of the other drivers who were invited. It felt weird not being next to each other, but every so often they'd steal the occasional glance.

The DJ started playing more slow songs and other couples joined the dance floor. Lewis made his way over to the bar, eyes fixated on Ruby while he was ordering. Someone clapped him on his shoulder from behind, startling him slightly. "Lewis, my boy" Toto said.
