"Go Through Me First"
After I had seen the look on my younger brother's face after Hayden had walked out, Aiden's phone in hand, there was only a few possible things that could have happened. Hayden did not look angry enough to have taken Aiden's phone, but rather more concerned and upset than anything else, which had narrowed down my options.
Aiden wasn't some type of kid that had to be on his phone, and I knew that he had a girlfriend, as he had expressed to me that he wanted to remove himself from their relationship, but the mothers of him and girl were still attached to their relationship, making it much harder. I know that Hannah Lauren is not a mother to Aiden, but at the time, he had expressed that he had once loved her like a son would.
And I guess I never really thought about my two youngest siblings, being burdened with what they had been, had lost the person that they thought was their mother. I knew that what they had gone through, and I had seen it on their reports from the Doctors the other day, that they had been through more than anyone would ever know, as they had never once complained, that they believed the way they were treated, was right and just.
I had made it my mission, since my sister had screamed for me to put her down, and everything had clicked into place, that I was going to do my best of showing that there is more to life than words and slaps. Yeah, I know they have been slapped. I had been through a similar situation with my foster home, as it had gotten so bad when they found out I had saved the life of a little girl, that I had been moved, and thank god it had been with Theo, because I was unsure of what was going to happen to me in that house.
But I know that what I went through, would never measure up to what my little sister had been through. Aiden had vaguely told me that much, and when I had questioned the boy that my little sister had been hanging around at the hospital whom was also injured the same night my brother was, Angus Armani, he had confirmed as such.
Angus had told me that my little sister ran away, and that was when I knew that she was my little sister, the same girl who had nearly drowned if I hadn't saved her. So, that was why I had left Aiden with my friends, and whoever Leo had invited over, as Hayden had allowed us to do as such, I went on a hunt for my sister.
"Hey Ol, have you seen Ana?" Oliver was in the kitchen, cooking. Cooking was his pride and joy, as he had said that he had been put with an older couple and a slightly older boy when he was fostered, meaning he did all the hard work, and that is clear through everything that he does today. As weird as it may sound, we had blurted out everything the moment that we had seen one another, which was at different points, and it felt good that we had gotten over that milestone early on.
Now it was our turn to coax such simplicity into Aiden and Ana. Aiden was the easier of the two, as he hadn't felt as cornered as Ana does. "I think she is either in her room or doing something with Theo" Oliver responded, and I just nodded my head as a thank you, before I continued on my search. I would never say it, but I loved this little girl with my entire heart, and I'm pretty sure it comes from the near death experience the two of us shared that day. It's something that plagues my every day thinking.
