Chapter 83: Baba Chops Vs Simon Smoke: An Attempt To Clear The Air

Bubba, PickyPiggy, Hoppy and KickinChicken meanwhile were having a chat together. DandyDragon was also there with them as they all discussed their recent encounters.

“So we all had encounters with those four missing critters…” KickinChicken said,

“Yeah, you and Hoppy were with CatNap and DogDay in Sunshine Valley with this Poppy girl on those missing critters related to the unsolved mysteries…” Bubba said, “But they all acted strange to us when we dueled them…”

“What made them wanna act like they're putting us on their shit lists?” Hoppy wondered,

“Don't know…” PickyPiggy replied, “But we better watch ourselves…”

“That's right.” DandyDragon said, “It happened to me once, and I'm gonna make sure it won't happen to me again. Also won't happen again to you four and your friends.”

“How are you gonna do that?” Bubba asked her,

“It's simple.”

Later in the afternoon, Baba was walking to her destination, alone, with a text message from someone telling her to meet her at the dangerous side of Sunshine Valley. She was carrying her Duel Disk on her arm and a baseball bat to make sure she fights back.

“I know It's you, Simon…” She said, “I'm gonna make sure that I get to clear the air when I knock some sense into you and the others… Mostly her…”

As Baba arrived at her destination, she was greeted by Simon, who was waiting for her.

“Please, drop the weapon, old friend…” He said to Baba, “I'm not here to hurt you.”

Simon revealed his Duel Disk.

“I'm here to duel you.” He said with an evil grin,

“Figures you would say that.” Baba said as she dropped her baseball bat and activated her Duel Disk, “I'm ready when you are.”

Simon activates his Duel Disk and chuckled.

“Bring it on!” He said,

“Duel!” Simon and Baba both shouted,

Baba Chops: 4000

Simon Smoke: 4000

The duel has begun. Simon went first. He looked at his hand and smiled.

“Perfect, as always.” He said as he played a Spell Card to start things off, “I activate my Spell Card, Eldlixir Of Black Awakening!”

“Already bringing out Eldlich, huh?” Baba asked him,

“Damn right I am! And I'm gonna Special Summon him from my Deck under the Eldlixir Of Black Awakening!”

Simon revealed a card from his Deck as red aura started to form around the area. He then started to chant.

“Corrupted lord of a curse that rivals Midas, unleash your greedy rage and use your golden powers to bring the fortune to victory!” He chanted, “Come on out, Eldlich The Golden Lord!”

Eldlich The Golden Lord was Special Summoned onto the field in Defense Position with 2800 DEF Points. Baba didn't flinch as she looked at Eldlich.

“Hmph, here he is.” She said, “I'm not amused, because I know how your deck plays out.”

“Is that so?” Simon wondered, “Just try and stop me when I have a new strategy up my sleeve!”
