Chapter 112: The Silver Tower Of Fate

Later, CatNap and DogDay were outside of Hoppy's home after they're done eating breakfast, sitting on some lawn chairs provided by Hoppy.

“...So… You said you saw something?” DogDay wondered as he looked up at the sky, ”It was that spot, right?”

“Yeah…” CatNap replied, “I don't know what it was…”

“Well I don't know either… but…”

“You didn't see it as well…”

“Yeah…”

CatNap then felt something touching him to his right. He looked over and noticed that no one was present. Paranoid he was, this worried DogDay.

“Are you ok?” DogDay wondered,

“I swear, someone is fucking with me…” CatNap said, “That glowing dark light I saw earlier… Something touching me, or from what it felt… Someone is trying to toy with my mind… again.”

“Oh not again…”

“...Wait… I think… he wants me.”

“Who?”

“Prince Prototype.”

“What?! Why?! We almost died from duels last night!”

“Yeah, but… it's just a feeling… Don't know when he wants me though, but… I just hope to God that he leaves me be while I recover like this…”

DogDay sighed.

“You're right on that one…” He said, “Let's just take it easy for a bit…”

It was the next day. CatNap was taking a nap after lunch, until he woke up to everything shaking.

“What the fuck?!” CatNap shouted,

The shaking stopped as CatNap got out of his room to head outside of his apartment. There, DogDay was already outside.

“You felt it too?!” DogDay said,

“I did!” CatNap replied, “What was that all about?!”

“Let's check the city area!”

CatNap and DogDay went to the city area where some other citizens were watching and noticing what was going on. Some of the citizens were chatting over what just happened.

“Nothing much is going on around here…” DogDay said, “Maybe they felt it too.”

“CatNap, DogDay!” A voice hollered,

CatNap and DogDay turned to Bubba, who called their names. CraftyCorn, KickinChicken, Hoppy, Bobby and PickyPiggy were there with them.

“You two felt the shaking earlier too?” CraftyCorn asked them,

“We did…” CatNap replied,

“But how?” DogDay wondered, “How did it happen?”

“I really don't know…” Bubba said, confused,

Then, the shaking started to happen again. Almost everyone tries to hold on for balance.

“What the hell is going on here?!” Hoppy shouted,

“I have a bad feeling about this!” CraftyCorn shouted,

What everyone saw was a giant, tall, futuristic, silver tower, coming out of the ground somewhere, rising above.

“Holy…” Bubba said, surprised, like the rest,

“...shit…” KickinChicken said,

When the tower stood tall, everything stopped shaking.

“That's… a big problem.” PickyPiggy said,

“But where did it come from?” Bobby wondered, “W-Why is it here, of all places, in the middle of Crittopia?”

Then, CatNap felt something all around him, again, like he's being touched from every inch.

“W-Wait a minute…” He said, surprised, “This…”

DogDay and even CraftyCorn felt it as well.

“What's happening?” He said,

“Now this is also getting almost too uncomfortable…” CraftyCorn said, “There has to be some sort of explanation to–”

“--Uhhh, guys?” KickinChicken hollered as he was seen floating upwards in the air, on his own, “Get me down!”

“Oh, shit!” Hoppy shouted as she was also floating in the same direction as KickinChicken, on her own, and waving her arms, “Hello?! Someone help me down!”

Bobby, PickyPiggy and Bubba started to float on their own as well, also in the same direction as Hoppy and KickinChicken.

“I hate heights!” Bobby shouted, closing her eyes and trying to get to PickyPiggy to hug her,

“Oh, no, no!” CraftyCorn shouted as she and DogDay floated as well, “Not me! I'm not built to fly!”

CatNap then started to float as well and in the same direction as his friends, but was more worried the rest. Everyone else looked at them and started to panic and run for their lives. What is happening to them? Why are they floating all of a sudden?
