After the Concert:
All through the setlist, John Mcvie couldn't concentrate. He kept on thinking about what went on in the dressing room before being interrupted by a pissed off Mick. The show had gone fine, but the only thing on John's mind was Christine Perfect and her sexy blue eyes; the only way he'd gotten through the show was sheer muscle memory, and even then he didn't miss a single chord.
Now, in his room back at the hotel, he poured a glass of Daniel's, sat down on his bed, and pondered over what he called in his mind the Dressing Room Incident. Christine took his hands in hers, placed one on her face, and they ended up so close to each other he could've leaned in and kissed her if Mick hadn't interrupted them. This all couldn't have been just the heat of the moment, could it? But it very well could've been; John and Christine weren't very close, they were in separate bands so they obviously didn't see each other much, and the only thing he really knew about her was she was from England like he was.
Jesus, he told himself. You don't have a chance in hell with a woman like that.
Christine probably had no idea what she was doing; after all, she did have a bottle thrown in her face, wouldn't that make anyone a little disoriented?
The clock read 11:41 PM. Nearly time for bed. Was Christine sleeping? Probably not. She had gone to the hospital shortly after John left the dressing room, and had come back an hour later with her forehead stitched and wrapped. She had gone straight back to her hotel room without a word to anyone, but it was clear the way she kept wincing meant she had refused sedatives for the stitches.
John poured another glass of whiskey, finished it then went to bed. He had a hard time falling asleep, most likely because of the whiskey. It always did give him a hard time sleeping for some reason. When he finally did fall asleep, he dreamt of Christine and the look she had in her eyes back in the dressing room.

Author's note: I know this is a short and uninteresting chapter but I'm really unsure if anyone likes it. I'm debating if I should continue this fanfic or delete it and start from scratch.
