Second P.O.V.
He then partially came into the moonlight, the light reflecting against his built, strong and solid figure. Wait, he's not strong. He had a dad-bod, as many call it...
The height of the figure made bad memories engulf your mind in a mix of emotions. Partially panic, fear and the desire to run.
The figure had no top on, just loose sweatpants and nothing covering their feet either. They had hair reaching the half of their neck and were dark on the top while bleached at the tips. Their skin was deathly pale, muscles prodding out at every corner of their frame as if they were a bodybuilder their whole life with a balanced diet and a consistent exercise routine. Their expression showed tiredness all the while portraying manic joy deep inside. The bags under their eyes, the pool of void that were their eyes told you all you needed to know to put this picture back together...
Your body started to tremble as the tips of your fingers felt cold, your feet becoming rather unresponsive as your body chose the third option out of the three possible ones: freeze.
"My..." Their voice came out raspy, deep and just as terribly laced with honey as you remember. It sent daggers through your brain, scratching at an area of your mind that hasn't been scratched in years for a good reason.
"My Y/n."Oh Sangwoo.
You wanted to gasp for air but your lungs failed you. You only opened your mouth yet nothing came out or entered.
Many questions flooded your mind which you NEEDED an explanation for, but you couldn't pay attention to those. For now, your mind pressed for a different matter.
You looked at Sangwoo's grip, noticing limp officer Park in his grasp and he dragged him towards the campsite as if he were a sack of potatoes.
You mind raced. There was no blood, yet he seemed like dead weight.
And Sangwoo dragged him so effortlessly, standing tall, making his painfully slow way towards you before stopping just two meters from you, looking down at you with such an unreadable expression."Don't worry, he's not dead, just sleeping." Oh spoke out, his words seemingly not as cocky as they used to come out before. As if he himself was just as surprised as you were to find you here.
Utter silence made your sweat run cold as you just stared at him blankly, you words not leaving your moth, just quiet confused mumbles sounding from your throat as your crouched form trembles on the ground.
Oh's expression then changed, his eyes showing tenderness and a sickly desire you last saw in the courtroom upon coming in.
"You don't look a day older than when I last saw you." His voice broke the eeire silence, "in fact, you look younger, healthier. Your cheeks are fuller, your wrinkles aren't as apparent as they were, your hair looks softer." He rambled. Then, just then, as if absorbing his stupidity, you could muster up a single question.
"What are you doing here." Didn't make it sound like a question, more like a statement than anything else. As if bellow the surface your words could be translated to "Get the fuck away from me."Sangwoo's eyes nearly rolled back into his skull upon hearing your voice after so long. To him you sounded calm yet scared out of your mind. He loved that. He always loved your fear more than your confidence, but that said confidence did always rile him up because he knew he was just about to knock you down a peg and make you feel that delicious fear again.
"Oh, Y/n," he started, taking a pause before saying your name as if it was slowly fading from his memory up until now, "I said I'd find you again. And I did. It was very risky and exhausting but... Here I am, my love." He spoke, calm and collected. His calmness freaked you out.
