Y/n didn't know what she was doing.
Her feet moved her out of her room in the middle of the night. The ship bumped and creaked from the natural motion of floating in Jemison's orbit, but she didn't go to the cockpit to watch the process or count stars. Instead, she approached Jimin's door, her footsteps as silent as always. She didn't knock. That late, she knew he never locked the door.
Y/n entered in time to see Jimin hovering and glowing. His legs were crossed while he floated a few feet off the ground like an artifact. His fingers on his uninjured arm, which rested on his knees, glowed a soft blue, and when he opened his eyes, his irises were the same color, the hue so bright it made the whites of his eyes the same shade.
"Y/n," he said, his floating self returning to the ground. "Shit, you should have knocked so I could stop."
Jimin closed his functional fist to cease his powers, the strands of his hair that had been floating returning to their proper places. That was far from the first time Y/n had walked in on him meditating and "training" his powers. He considered looking inward a form of training and attempting to feel his powers, no matter if it hurt or not.
