My thoughts were interrupted by a beautiful voice. I brought down my eyes to see her, standing in the middle of the street on the crosswalk. Her short brown hair that got lighter on the ends was braided perfectly and resting on her shoulder. She wore a bright smile but her eyes were covered by Ray-Bans.
She was waving to me so I smiled and waved back I signaled with my hands for her to come over. Since we’re at a red light, I figure I have enough time to talk to her. As she walks over, I notice just how stunning she is. She’s wearing tan riding pants that make her legs look brilliant and a long-sleeved black polo that shows the faintest bit of her chest. She was really hot.
“Hey Harry.” She said as she walked over to my side of the car.
She pushed her sunglasses to the top of her head, revealing her shining brown eyes. As she did the action, the sleeve of her polo rolled down slightly and revealed a treble clef tattoo on her wrist.
“Woah, I like your tattoo.” I say in awe before I can even think twice about my words. I blush about how dumb I just sounded but she just lets out a small, beautiful laugh.
“Thanks. I like your tattoos too.” She says while pointing at my chest. I look down and see that the tips of my swallows wings show over the collar of my shirt.
“Thanks. Say, what’s your name, love?” I smile, enjoying how she looked at my lips as I spoke.
“Lucy.” She said while twirling her braid in between her fingers for a second.
I see the color of the light change from the corner of my eye and the security guard starts to drive before I can say anything else. I look back to see Lucy still standing where I left her, her hand outstretched to me as she called out “Bye Harry!”.
I really liked the way she said my name. I outstretched my hand out to her as well, laughing at how much of a twisted love story this was. And as I turned back around in my seat I felt a weird combinations of emotions. Lucy was beautiful- and that was a fact that was prominent in my mind full of many thoughts. Meeting her had distracted me completely from Bear.
But maybe she was a substitution for Bear. Evidently, the both liked horse riding and a amazing smile. I enjoyed the way that both of them said my name even if it was in two different accents. They were both fans that acted calm around me. Which is really great, trust me. It doesn’t make you feel too hot when you’re trying to talk to someone who’s a fan and they start like hyperventilating. Or when you just wanna give them a simple hug, they just burst out into tears.
I think over my mini break away on the plane ride back to England and I realise how much I miss Bear. I had pushed her away to harshly and I’m scared of how she’ll act when I get back. I get to the arena around 11 AM on April 1st. I see my bandmates and catch up with them. Niall went to Ireland for his brother's wedding and Louis went to Oman with Eleanor, his girlfriend. Liam and Zayn both went back to their hometowns and just spent time with their family and friends. And Bear? Well, I hadn't seen her yet, which was really odd.
"Have you seen Bear?" I ask Louis as we walk together down the hall to the hair and makeup room.
"Yeah, she's here already. I haven't seen her yet but Lou says she forgot her phone charger at home." Louis explains.
We've just walked into the hair and makeup room and my chest lightens when I see Bear's familiar on the couch. Her knees are tucked to her chest and her neck is bent, her hair falling around her face. She doesn't look at us as we walk in but she does say a quiet "Hi..".
Me and Louis talk to Lou and Caroline for a bit and Bear remains silent on the couch. Lou, Caroline and Louis all leave the room to go to the main dressing room where the others are. As they leave, I walk over and sit next to Bear's feet on the couch. I see that she's drawing something but her hair covers her face and the picture.
