the ride home was quiet. all i could think about was how could she go with josh. rose was known for being the teacher's pet and little miss goody two shoes. she would always be the one to hurry straight home, but now she's doing the exact opposite.
"c'mon mate, aren't you going to come? everyone's already in." calum said.
"oh yea, i'm right behind ya bud."

after rehearsal i walked home in a daze wondering if everyone else were really who i thought they were. i decided to take the long way home so that i could think more. i passed by josh's house and saw rose walking out of his house. her hair was ruffled as if someone had been running there fingers through it. her lips, looked like they were kissed a lot. i knew what they were doing on there, and it felt like a stab in the chest.
"hey, luke right? "she said.
"oh h-hi rose."
"please do me a favor and don't speak about this to anyone. "she said while pointing to herself
"uh yea, sure, but you'll have to owe me. "
