ever since that day, luke and rose were inseparable. rose felt the need of luke's comfort all the time. when they would walk pass josh, rose would cling onto luke for dear life. josh was sporting a black eye, which was given by none other than luke. tyler started hanging out with luke and his friends since josh and tyler were in an argument. josh and layla, the girl he cheated on rose with, started dating. they became one of the most talked about couples, and it wasn't for a good reason.

luke p.o.v

i finally had her, kinda. she wasn't officially mine, but i know we both felt what was happening between us. i've been trying to find a way to win her over completely. i knew that a part of her heart was still with josh.

"hey luke, there's a couple of songs that kinda explains your little situation with you, josh, and rose. maybe you can do a little cover of it and then ask rose out." calum said. we were currently in michael's basement, planning out ways for me to ask out rose.

"okay, what are they called?"

"one is called don't by bryson tiller and the other is called next to you by chris brown. next to you is kinda more your style cause tiller is like a rapper."

"play a clip of next to you." calum started looking through his phone to find the song.
