Part 11- Bad Memories

*Levis Pov*

God she's gorgeous. I'm walking behind her as we walk to the skatepark. She's talking to drew and every so often she will turn around to me and smile.
I can't believe she's mine. I'm so lucky.
We have to buy her a skateboard, so we can all skate.
She picks one nearest the colour of mine, black at the bottom and red at the top.

"Um Levi, can you teach me how to do this?" She asks me as we reach the park.

"Yeah sure. Just step on. Don't worry I'm holding you."
I grab onto her waist lightly so she doesn't fall.

"Okay so push off the ground with one foot."
She does as I tell her. I let go of her waist as she moves off.
She goes about two metres before she falls off.
She looks at me and laughs.

"Show me your moves Jones." she says as she gets up.

*Alexis Pov*

Levi gets on his board when I get up. He's so good. I stand there in awe watching him go up and down the ramps doing all the tricks and flicks.
He stopped and came towards me. I stood there. Staring at him.

"You alright there." Someone said into my ear from behind me.

"Oh my dear lord Nate." I shout as I turn around to see three boys laughing at me.
"You scared me. And I'm fine, you?" I say as we walk towards the exit of the park.

"Yeah I'm alright. You were just staring at Levi." He replied.

"Wouldn't you be?" I said jokingly.

We decide to get lunch as we skipped breakfast.

"How're the lovebirds?" Austin asks when he comes back from the bathroom.

"We're great" Levi says smiling at me.

Austin sat down next to me. I was across from Levi. I had a direct view of the television at the bar.

"A man with a black moustache, said to be about six foot in height, has now targeted four girls. This man has raped many others in the past. Here's John with more on this story."

No. Not here. Not now.
Levi looked at me concerned. He puts his hand over mine on the table.

"You okay? you look a little shaken up." he asks.

"Listen to the news." I reply.

He listened and now looked more concerned.

"Should I get them to change the channel?"

"No, no it'll be over in a minute. I'll be okay then."
Our food was delivered to our table just as Drew and Nate came back with our drinks.
Maybe eating will take my mind off that dreadful evening.

*Levis pov*
I'm very worried about Alexis. She barely are any of her food. And looks very pale.

"Do you want to go?" I whisper.

"If its okay with you." She replied.
I nod.

"Em, we're going to go. Alexis doesn't feel great."

"Okay we'll meet you back at the hotel." Drew says.

We walk back to the hotel. She still looks very pale.

"Are you sure you're okay?" I ask her.

"Yeah, I'll be okay. Just the news reminded me of that evening."

My phone vibrated in my pocket.

"Listen, I have to go for a minute. Waddy needs to talk to me." I say kissing her forehead.

"Where are the boys?" he says as I walk in.

"Still at the restaurant. Why? what's up?"

"It can wait until they come back."

"Okay, I'll get them all to come down later"

I leave and head back up to my room.
When I get in, Alexis is nowhere to be seen.
But I can hear low sobs from the bathroom.

"Alexis, can you come out sweetie?" I say trying to be calm.
She didnt reply.

"Alexis, please let me in. I can help you."
I hear her moving.
The door handle moves and the door swings open.
I see her crying on the floor. Her mascara is running down her face.
Her arm and the tiles are red.
No.
Please no.

I know I've been gone for ages but I'm back now.
I hope you like this. It has gotten a little bit dark now but still.
