Okay from the very beginning I honestly wanted to make Ryder a Chimera, or somehow have her be changed into a werewolf by Scott(idk idk idk idk) But then like lots of TW fanfics I've read, the girl love interest is something supernatural so I decided against it. Like with my Stiles FF, Ember had Danger Intuition(kind of like Lydia but she's not a Banshee idk I read it somewhere) But I wanted to do something different, and the scene where Mason tells Kira about the language barrier drew my attention.
I felt like it wasn't right to make her a Kitsune( I kind of liked the Ocean,Time, and Forest Kitsune stuff I read) so that's why I went with the Dyslexic thing(mirror reading isn't that hard tbh but it has nothing to do with Dyslexia..I don't think?¿ but dyslexic people are know to have special traits about them and that's what makes Ryder special)
ANYWAYS, I'm just torn between making her something supernatural and keeping her human(if she was a Chimera she would be a success)
Her like, humanity is what's revolving around this whole book(if that makes sense) IDK MAN WRITES BLOCK SUCKS.
