"Mason's trying to so solve a mystery that is actually himself.

Everywhere where there's some kind of frequency- the night at the transmission towers,  the observatory downtown, the army base...all the times where there's been transmissions, Mason wasn't there.  The Dread Doctors are going to find him, and its not going to be a good thing."

"What about Corey?"

"Theo, Mason is my best friend!"

"And Corey's part of MY pack."

"Can we not argue here?!" Tracy yells.

"You really want me to put this on?" I ask him.

"You won't die if you put it on."

"And how do you know that? Or is it just that you don't wanna put it on yourself?" I turn to Theo. "Or you?"

"I'm not afraid to do it, Ryder." Theo say, crossing his arms over this chest. "I'm just not stupid."

"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?!" I yell. I can't believe he's acting this way towards me. I'm his girlfriend for fucks sake!

"It means exactly what it means."

"I can't believe you." I say in a hushed tone, whilst shaking my head. I throw the helmet on the ground, letting my tears finally fall from my eyes. "Everyone was right about you, but I didn't listen."

"Ryder, ple-" "Don't call me. Don't look for me. Don't even talk to me." I say, cutting him off. And with that, I'm gone.

The first thing I do when I start walking is to call Stiles. He picks up on the first ring.

"Ryder?"

"I broke up with Theo." I say through tears.

"I'm on my way."

Not even 10 minutes later, he pulls up to the curb. He quickly hops out with a hoodie in his hand, and I run into his arms.

"I-I know I have no right to call you, but you're the only one I could think of."

"I'm glad you called me, ok?" He say, kissing my forehead. "But we gotta get to Scotts place."  He helps me into the Jeep and we drive off.

"My dads got an ABP out..."

"For a 5'8" 16 year old?"

"I recommended a nine-foot tall raging werewolf."

"It still might not be him."

"Liam, he's my best friend too." I say. "But you know I'm never wrong about my drawings."

"I can keep checking the woods." Malia says.

"And my mom can check the hospitals in the county." Scott finally comes downstairs, looking 1000xs better than he did last night. "We can find him."

"What happens then?"

"We figure out a way to save him."

My phone goes off, and it's Theo. I press the red phone button on the screen and try to focus on what our new plan is, which isn't really working because all I can think about is how much I miss Theo.

I wasn't paying attention, but out of fucking no here, Scott pulls Corey out of thin air.

"Wait-wait! It's not my fault. They took him and I couldn't do anything!" Corey says, panicking.
