Riker:
You had just broken up with your boyfriend and there was only one person you could think of to help comfort you. The one person you went to with everything and anything. The one who was there for you since the start, your best friend Riker. You walked up his door and knocked. "He- YN! What's wrong?" he asked, pulling you inside and into his arms. "H-he cheated on me." you whimpered. "Awh, babe. Come in." he said pulling you into the living room. You guys sat down in silence for a while and then you started pouring your heart out to him. He stayed quiet and listened carefully to everything you had just said. After you were done talking and crying, Riker finally spoke up. "Well YN, he doesn't deserve you. You can live here, if you want. You know that I'll always be here for you." he said, moving towards you and pulling you in for a hug. "Thanks, Riker. You're the best, best friend anyone could ask for." "Of course, YN. Why don't we go to sleep. It's pretty late." You nodded after you looked at the time, it was almost 2 in the morning. You guys went up stairs and you were about to go to the guest room but Riker pulled you towards his room. "I don't think you should be alone tonight YN. You can borrow some of my clothes." he said, pulling out some sweats and a T-shirt for you. You changed and laid down with him. He kept his distance but all you need was to be held, so that's what he did after you asked him to. Riker was the best guy friend you had, you appreciated everything he did for you. You hoped that nothing would ever come between the two of you because you couldn't bear the thought of losing him.
Ross:
It was your weekly movie night with Ross. You always looked forward to these nights because it was the time to talk about everything that happened during the week. He never missed a movie night, even on tour he would call and you guys would watch a movie together over the phone. "ROSSSSSS!" you yelled as soon as you walked into his house. You walked into the kitchen seeing him putting the snacks together, you went towards him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Hey, YN. Lemme finish getting the food together and we'll watch the first movie." "Okay I'll go set up the living room." About ten minutes later you guys were stuffing your face with food and watching a horror movie. You guys kept commenting on whatever was happening in the movie. It was starting to get scary and neither of you wanted to eat anymore. You found yourself moving closer and closer to Ross. It never failed, whenever you guys watched a scary movie you would end up in Ross' arms and sitting on his lap. This time was no exception. After the movie ended Ross pulled both of you off the couch, you still attached to him, scared that something was going to kill you. "YN, you can stay the night if you're scared." he laughed. "Okay." was all you said before you made you way to his room. You knew the drill: change into his clothes and lay down with him. Whenever you stayed over you guys cuddled. It was nothing new. A lot of people thought it was weird how close you guys were and not dating. But to you guys it was natural, you guys knew it each other really well and were really comfortable with each other. Your friendship with Ross was something you had never wanted to lose.
Rocky:
The fans always blew things out of proportion. (honestly you cant deny it) This time it had gone far, people were calling you a cheater.The thing was that you and Rocky weren't ever together, you guys were just really close best friends. People who didn't personally know you two didn't understand. He came over to check on you. Rocky had walked into your apartement looking for you but you wouldn't answer him. He heard sobs coming from your room so he followed them. "YN! There you are. I was calling for you." You still didn't say anything. "Don't listen to them. They don't know how our friendship works. You're my rock, YN. I don't know what I would do without you." he said, laying down next to you. He was now laying next to you, holding on to your waist. This was a normal gesture between you two. "Rocky, I just want them to understand that I want nothing from you other than friendship." "I know, babe. You're my best friend. They don't understand but they don't need to. I know I need you, like I said before." You laughed, "Yeah. You might die without me." He chuckled and gave your head a kiss. "I would. Plus I wouldn't know who would be my sidekick when I plan a really good prank." "Yeah." was the only thing you said before you fell asleep in his arms. When you woke up Rocky was still holding onto you. He was always doing what he could to protect you, you were like his sister. He never liked to see you hurt. You cherished his friendship because you had never had a close friend like Rocky. You always hoped to have him around forever.
Ellington:
You had gone out shopping with Ellington because you wanted to spend time with him. He had helped you pick out outfits like a best friend would do. "How about this?" you asked him. "Perfect." he said, giving you a huge smile. You guys had spent more time in the shop before you paid for your items. As you were leaving you saw all the paparazzi and fans at the entrance. You started to panic, you hated large crowds. "YN. Calm down, okay? We will be okay, security just walked in." Ellington said, pulling you into his arms, making his way to the entrance. "Ellington, I can't." "Yes you can. I've got you, no one will hurt you." you nodded your head. The doors flew open and you guys were being escorted to the the car. There was a lot of things being thrown around, speculations that you and Ellington were more than friends and things like that, but you tried you best to ignore it. As soon as you got to the car, Ellington made sure to get you in safe and gave you kiss on the cheek before he went to his side of the car. As soon as he was in he turned to you, "You okay?" "Yeah. Thanks for taking care of me. And being a caring person." "No problem. As your best friend, I am obligated to keep you safe no matter what." he smiled, as he pulled out of the store's parking lot. He was right, he always kept you safe. You no longer thought of him as just a best friend, but as a brother. He was someone who would always be in your life, no matter what he was there to stay.
Ryland:
It was no secret that you and Ryland were best friends. You guys were so close that you always came off to other people as if you were a couple. You guys had gone out to lunch and we're having a good time. At one point Ryland had grabbed your hand and didn't let go. "You guys are a cute couple." a elderly women had said, breaking you guys out of your conversation. "Uh-we-" "We're not a-" you both stammered. "Oh, my mistake. It just seemed like you guys were. I'm sorry." she apologized and walked away. "Well, that was nothing new, yeah?" Ryland said, looking at you and pulling his hand away. "Nothing new at all. It's weird that people always seem to thing we're together." you said, getting back to your food. "I know. I guess we're so close that we just seem like we're a couple." he smiled. You guys continued to talk and of course the conversion flowed with ease. Ryland was someone who understood you like no one ever had. He walked you back to your car after lunch. As you guys were saying your goodbyes he pulled you in for a bone crushing hug and a kiss on the cheek. He was always affectionate with you, it had finally clicked as to why people always though you guys were a couple. You guys were always like this with each other but no on would understand the bond you guys shared. You both knew that your friendship was special and neither of you wanted to ruin it. A relationship was talked about in the past but it was a risky thing and your friendship was worth so much, losing it would be bad. You never know though, you guys were close and things in the future could change, a relationship could be formed. But if that ever happened you knew that you would both work to make it work, forever.
