"It might be a nice retirement thing," I said, shrugging, picking at my noodles. "I have to really think about the causes that are important to me. And I have to have capital, first. Maybe when Richard is a famous painter I'll make him give me the money to open an orphanage in Guatemala. Or rehabilitate abused animals."
"How much would you need?"
"What?" I laughed and shook my head and said, "God, I don't know. Millions of dollars? I feel like it would take a lot of research and a lot of funding."
