Yin woke up the next morning before dawn.
"Yin." Vedran said. He was right in her face.
She glared at the darkness in the direction of Vedran.
"What?" Yin asked obviously irritated.
"Can I take a shower before we leave?" Vedran asked.
He sounds like a child. Yin thought.
"Yes. Just make it quick. I don't wanna be waiting hours for you to get out." Yin ordered.
"Yes Yin." Vedran said.
Yin heard shuffling which was probably Vedran going to go take a shower.
He's so loud and not at all stealthy. Yin rolled her eyes. Idiot.
Yin got up, and started gathering her stuff, she put her cloak on, and she put her sword on her back.
Yin knocked on the bathroom door.
"Hurry up." She ordered.
"Yes Yin!" Vedran said.
Yin rolled here eyes. Almost every time I tell him to do something he says that. She smiled slightly. I don't hate it though.
Yin heard the water go off.
"Yin I'm coming out!" Vedran called.
"Are you in just a towel?" Yin questioned.
There was a short silence.
"Yeah." Vedran finally said. "I didn't bring my clothes in here." He stated.
Yin rolled her eyes.
"I'll get your clothes." She said.
"Okay, thank you Yin." Vedran thanked.
"Don't mention it." She picked his stack of clothes up. "Here you can open the door.".
He opened the door just enough for him to grab his clothes, and pull them in, then he shut the door.
"Hurry up. The sun will start coming up any minute now." Yin said.
"Yes Yin." Vedran said.
Just as Yin sat on the bed there was a knock on the door.
Burn this insolent world. She thought, stood up, and answered the door.
Cea was at the door.
"Hello Yin." Cea greeted.
"Hi." Yin said, and walked away from the door. "Come in. Close the door behind you." She ordered.
"Yes Ma'am." Cea said.
"Don't call me ma'am." Yin said.
"Then what do I call you?" Cea asked.
Yin shrugged. "Anything but ma'am.".
"I guess I could call you Yin or Shadow." Cea suggested.
"Whatever burns your coal." Yin said.
"Okay then." Cea looked around. "Where is our dear Prince friend?" Cea asked.
"He took a shower, and is now getting dressed." Yin answered. "Hopefully he'll be done soon.".
Cea nodded.
The door to the bathroom opened, and Vedran came out.
"Done finally?" Yin asked.
"I didn't take that long of a shower." Vedran argued.
Yin smiled.
"Shall we leave?" Cea asked.
"Yeah, let's go." Yin said and stood up.
Vedran gathered his stuff, and nodded.
The three left the Inn, and left Skoúro xerei.
"Where are we going now?" Vedran asked Yin.
"Teufelshöhle." Yin answered.
"Eh. Why there?" Cea asked.
"Because I think the person I'm looking for is there." Yin replied.
"And what is this place? I've never heard of it." Vedran said.
"Well Vad, Teufelshöhle is known as The Place Closest to Hell's Gates, I think that tells you all you need to know about it." Cea answered.
"Oh feces." Vedran said.
"I've been there once. It wasn't awful." Yin said. "Although I think we all should get a room together. Just to be safe." She smiled reassuringly.
"Wait! Is this The Criminal's Nest?" Vedran asked.
"That is also one of its titles." Cea nodded.
"We can't go there!" Vedran exclaimed.
"Well Vad, we are going there, so get over it." Yin said. "You have me so you'll be fine.".
Vedran looked at Yin then at Cea then back to Yin. "Fine." He finally said, not liking the idea at all.
"How far away are we?" Vedran asked.
"Not to far." Cea answered.
"A day or two." Yin added.
Vedran frowned.
"Don't worry. It'll be fine." Cea reassured. "I'm great with a sword and a bow, and Yin here is The Shade a natural with a blade, and could kill." Cea grinned. "Well if she wanted to kill that is.".
Vedran nodded, still not completely convinced that they would be safe.
