Emily was home sick today and Ian was stuck at home taking care of her. She wasn't a five year old girl anymore so she could stay home alone. Her plan was to sleep in anyways.

"Emily, I'm going out for an hour to visit a friend. I'll be back." Emily gave him an okay and Ian grabbed his car keys and drove off.

Before Ian made it to his final destination, he took a trip to the Smosh studio and to the flower shop.

Once he had what he needed, he went straight his original stop. Fifteen minutes had passed by and Ian arrived at the cemetery.

He found Alicia's grave and stood there staring. He took a deep breath and laid the flowers down in front of the tombstone.

"Hi, Alicia. I'm back again. So I wanted to put a gift at your grave." Ian had taken the photo of himself and Emily (he had taken the picture the second day they met) and put it in a slot where you can insert pictures in.

"It's a little gift from me to you and...it's more of an update with Emily and us as her parents. I have a picture of you and her when she was small. Now you have a picture of me and her now." Ian smiled and crouched down.

"I wish you could tell me what your life was like over the years. Anyways, I have to take care of our sick daughter. I'll visit you later." Ian walked away from the grave and traveled back to the Smosh house.

Ian checked on his daughter who was sleeping and sat at the table in the living room. Anthony walked in the house and set the mail next to Ian and sighed.

"You're here again?" Ian asked Anthony. "Yeah, Kalel left me again. I got to go edit the Smosh video anyways." Anthony replied. In the meantime, Ian looked through the pile of mail.

"Bills, bills, bills, bills....what's this?" Ian mumbled to himself. It was a letter delivered and addressed to him.

Ian read the envelope. "To Mr. Ian Hecox" there was no name in the return address but he opened it anyways. It was a two pages letter from a mystery writer.

Dear Ian,

I heard what you said to me at my grave and you said that you wanted to know more about me and the events over the years. So I am here to tell you. You've probably heard from Emily that I had gotten cancer but that's not all. After I had left you I gave birth to Emily nine months later, of course. I had countless boyfriends but none of them compared to you. I got my GED since I dropped out of high school and took college classes when Emily was old enough for day care. When Emily was six and starting school, I worked at a fashion company for four years. I quit that job and worked as an assistant to a coach for the Los Angeles dodgers. We dated for a few months. Then I found out that he was married and I had broken up with him and quit that job. And it paid a lot too. Anyways I was out of a job for almost a year when I decided to work at the Starbucks down the street from where I lived. At this point I had discovered that you were Internet famous. I showed you and Anthony to our daughter but didn't tell her that you were her father. I kept your image from her only because I knew you wouldn't believe that we had a kid. I still regret not telling you about the pregnancy, I just wish I had told you. That way, you could of been there for Emily's childhood. Now that it's almost over, I fell like you missed everything. But I know you can finish what I have started and know that we raised our daughter right. I also know that Emily had a bullying situation and I didn't do anything to help, I'm really sorry about that. Just remember I'll always be by yours and Emily's side, no matter what. And deep down inside, I still love you and you still love me too. Be good to Melanie and love her as if you were dating me. You are my world and I hope you never forget me.

Love,

Alicia <3

The next morning, Emily woke up to a terrible cough. She went to fetch herself some medicine and notice her dad knocked out at the table and surrounded by mail. Emily woke Ian up and explained that he fell asleep while sorting out the mail.

Ian looked at the letter he was reading from Alicia and noticed that it was now a notice from a tv company asking if him and Anthony could have a meeting with the company to put Smosh on tv.

"Well then. They want to put Smosh on tv." Emily looked at Ian and widened her eyes while shaking her head no. She knew what was going to happen to Smosh if they went to tv. "It's a great opportunity, but I'd rather keep the fans happy then get paid more." Ian ripped the letter and the envelope and threw it all away.

Was the letter from Alicia real? Or was it just an illusion?

Hey guys!

I really hope you like the story! Anyways, I have to say that this is probably my favorite chapter in the story. Did Alicia really send a letter to Ian from beyond the grave? ;)
