Bonjour! I've got extraordinary news. I've made a friend in a gentleman I met while at farmer's market. He's kind and gentlemanly, most unlike my birth father. He expects little of me, but I can't help but want to please him. He's a great friend, and you know how hard that is for me to say.
To add to that, it would be marvellous if you were to come and see me. Meeting you in person, or even hearing your voice over a phone call, would certainly add to this odd happiness I've been feeling since yesterday morning. I hope there's a world meeting soon and that it's here, although that's a lot to ask for. By the way, I live at 7252 James Avenue, London.
Finally, I believe I'll write of a happy memory from my last life instead of from Elizabeth's as to keep this feeling going. I haven't told you of my life as Eight very much, after all...
