This story will go from the modern world to the past constantly. Also, it will follow special events in Queen Elizabeth I's life, along with everyday ones if they hold a lot of meaning. For example, in Arthur's version of the prologue, he took a ring from her. This references how someone was given the job of taking the ring from her and dropping it out the window, where a horseman would be waiting to bring it to the man who would become king in her stead. However, she refused to be bedridden in her sick state and didn't let anyone take the ring from her because that meant she would not be seen as a queen any longer. She had her chambers be floored with cushions so she could be comfortable without being bedridden.
