Thank god it's summer now, if I had to deal with all the people at school feeling bad for me I would literally throw up on them.

I can't even tell you how annoying it is to never be able to talk to someone without them telling me that they're sorry and they hope im okay.

im fine.

As I walked down bolt street, I saw the coffee shop I wanted to end up at.

I walked inside and ordered an iced coffee and a muffin.

after getting my order, I sat down at a table and began to eat.

I sat there scrolling through my instagram and eating my muffin.

"that muffin looks heavenly." I heard somebody say.

I jumped, not knowing they were there.

"oh hi." I said awkwardly to the boy that was now sitting across from me.

"im shawn." he said.

I smiled at him awkwardly as he stared at me waiting for a response.

"Oh!" I said realizing it was my turn to introduce myself, "I'm emily."

He chuckled.
"so where do you go to school?" he smiled.

"east. you?" I answered.

"me too."

he smiled again which made me smile back.

"you smile a lot." I said without thinking.

he laughed, which only made his smile bigger.

"im happy." he said.

"why?" I asked.

"why're you happy?" he asked me back.

"what?"

"you're smiling too." he said.

"because you're smiling." I said back trying to stop myself from smiling.

his smile grew bigger and he looked down at his hands.

"what is it?" I laughed.

"nothing I'm just spreading happiness."

I took a sip of my coffee.
"cheesy." I said shaking my head.

"what's your problem with cheese?"

we continued talking for a good hour and a half, and i enjoyed it, he's been the first person in a while to speak to me as if I was normal. Talking to him was amazing, until he got a text message.

he looked down at it and sighed.

"I gotta go." he said typing back to the text.

"ok." I said looking at him.

"hey, how bout you put your number in my phone and I'll text you." he said.
