"matt if you didn't even want to be a part of mason's life, why did you come to my house when sam told you!?" she yelled
"you could've easily went back to stanford and we wouldn't be having this fucking conversation." she kept yelling
"honey" he began to speak
"don't call me that and don't touch me." she pushed his arm
"nazi, im sorry but im just not ready to be a father, and you're really not ready to be a mother."
"don't say that, mason and i will do just fine without you. you actually never did anything but sit around." she said wiping her tears.
she loved him but he obviously didn't want to love her back.
"i tried to do something nazi, but i couldn't i just wasn't ready! and just so you know i still love you." he said
"matt just get out., its not any better if you stay any longer."
"so just like that no 'i love you' back?"
"matt how can I possibly say that if you're just leaving mason and i. it's like we don't even matter to you."
he ran to where she was standing and grabbed her arms
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T MATTER TO ME? I LOVE YOU GUYS WITH ALL MY HEART., THIS ISN'T ONLY HURTING YOU. IT'S HURTING ME TOO." he yelled making her cry even more
"im sorry." she whispered
he lifted his arm and she flinched. it broke his heart that she thought he would actually hit her and how he actually thought of it. she was shaking. closing her eyes. he let her go. and she stood there against the wall. he grabbed his stuff and went out the door without a word.
she heard mason's crying, and ran to his room
she grabbed him and began to cry, she felt guilty, she tried and tried to keep their family together.
"sam what are you doing here?" she wiped away her tears
"matt invited me over to see you.. but when i came i saw him driving off."
"sam i can't talk right now.." she tried closing the door when he pushed it open
he saw the furniture all over the place, but what stood out was the hole in the wall.
"sam it's not a good time right now..." she closed the door on him
she didn't notice the hole in the wall, she put all the furniture in the right place. and put a picture frame right where the hole was.
matt must've punched the wall when he had her against the wall..
she went to mason's room, where he had easily fallen asleep. and went into his crib to sleep with him.
they slept for hours with no one bugging them... this is how it was going to be from now on.

"uh, me and matt." she couldn't finish a sentence with matt's name without crying
