i think these were signs

The next morning I got up and threw on whatever clothes I could find to head to my aunties. I was the last one up so the other girls where sitting at the island in the kitchen, "Morning" I smiled as I put my suitcase by the front door. "Morning" They smiled back, "When are you leaving?" Alex asked, "Well my auntie is picking me up and she left about half an hour ago so in about an hour and a half" I shrugged, "How long are you going for?" Laura asked, "About a week but it depends" I said, "Okay" she sighed.

"I still don't understand why you're leaving" Tanya sighed, "I just need to think things through" I said, "What is there to think about?" Alex pushed, "What, besides the fact that I had a one night stand which I never do and then fell pregnant and the father is a famous pop star who also has a girlfriend and I'm only nineteen and to top it all off, I'm getting death threats from the girlfriend. Yeah I have no reason to be stressing out" I snapped.

"I'm leaving" I said and grabbed my suitcase, storming out the door and walking down the road to the bus stop. My auntie wont be here for another hour but they can forget it if I'm staying there any longer. Why can't they just let me do what I want and stop pestering me? I text my auntie and told her where I was and an hour later she pulled up, "Hey" She smiled, "Hiya" I smiled back and threw my suitcase in the boot.

"How have you been sweetie?" She asked, "I've been better" I sighed, "You can tell me all about it when we get home" She smiled reassuringly, "Thank you. So how have you been?" I asked, "Well I've got a new job, I have my own business now!" She grinned, "Oh my god that's fantastic! Congratulations!" I grinned.

My auntie is a fashion designer and she's been saving up the money and has been working to get her own business forever! "Thank you." She grinned back, "And Also, Paul has been promoted so now he is manager at Audi" She added, "Aw that's great! I'm so happy for you both!" I grinned.

The rest of the journey was spent talking about anything and everything except the Nathan situation. We got back to my Auntie and Uncle's house at about 11am, "Paul, we're here!" Auntie Sharon called "Hi honey. Hi Beth, how are you doing?" Paul said as he walked out of the kitchen, "I'm good thanks, how about you? I heard about your promotion, Congratulations!" I grinned, "Why thank you" He grinned and we all laughed. "I'm heading out now, I'll be back later. Bye bye" He said and kissed us both on the cheek before grabbing his coat and rushing out the door, "Where's he going?" I asked Sharon, "He's going to the pub with a few of his friends" She said, "Do you want tea?" She asked, "Please" I smiled, "Alright, make yourself comfortable and ill bring it in" She said and dashed into the kitchen.

"Now tell me everything" Sharon said as she handed me a cup of tea and sat on the sofa next to me, swinging her body round so she was facing me and crossed her legs. I mimicked her actions and took a sip of the steaming tea before starting on my story, "It started on my girls holiday to Ibiza...".

"Wow" Sharon gasped, "It's a lot to take in, I know" I sighed, "Well i'm deffinatly shoked and there's a few things I need to say.. firstly, I want you to stay away from Dora or whatever that bitch was called" I laughed at her calling Dionne Dora, "Secondly, I will be having words with your parents because I think what they did was out of order and I will happily help you in any way I can with this baby is they aren't going to and thirdly, I think you and this Nathan boy should get together" She said and added a wink at the end of it. "Thank you so much but you don't need to do that for me. And also, I don't see Nathan in that way. He's just a friend, I don't have feelings for him. Not forgetting that he has a girlfriend. Sort of." I sighed, "Beth think about it, you have never been the sort of girl that would have one night stands so there must be a reason why you did with him and also, have you thought about the fact that this pregnancy brought you two back together and has made you keep in contact with each other? If you ask me, I think these were all signs that you two were meant to be together" Her words made me think, they do make sense. But it could also be just a coincidence.. Neither of us have feelings for each other. Do we?
