Pool fun and baby names

Nathan’s POV

I said goodbye to Beth and headed back home which was only 10 minutes away. “Hello?” I called as I walked in, no answer. The lads must have gone out for the night. “Looks like I’ll be home alone tonight then” I mumbled. I headed upstairs to my room and had a quick (Well, half an hour) shower and jumped into bed.

I lay awake that night, thinking over this evening events. Beth had made me so happy, I cant believe she forgave me so quickly. She’s so kind and thoughtful and so gorgeous and... oh shit. I'm falling for her.

Beth’s POV

The next day the lads we were all going to go over to the lads’ house where they have a new pool. “Has anyone seen my bikini?” I called out of my room, “Where did you put it last” Laura called back, “I can’t remember” I said, “Try under the bed?” Taylor suggested. I did as she suggested and there it was. Of course. “Got it” I called. I put it in my bag along with my towel and everything else I would need.

“Honeys we’re home!” I heard all the boys walk in, “Just come on in” I said sarcastically as I met them at the bottom of the stairs, “Okay” Tom grinned and I rolled my eyes. “The girls are in their rooms” I said and they all dashed upstairs, “I guess I'm stuck with you then” Nath said in mock annoyance, “You love me really” I laughed, poking his stomach.

Nathan’s POV

“I guess I'm stuck with you then” I said, teasing Beth, “You love me really” she giggled, poking my stomach. If only you knew I thought to myself. “Tea?” She asked, “Please” I smiled and followed her into the kitchen. She grabbed two cups and put a tea bag in each and the sugar before turning on the kettle and turning to face me. “You’re wearing your bracelet” I smiled, “I always wear it” She smiled back, melting my heart.

Beth’s POV

I poured us both some tea and handed Nath his, “Cheers babe” he grinned, my cheeks burned hearing him call me babe. We sat there sipping our teas in a comfortable silence before the others came pounding down the stairs like a herd of elephants. I rolled my eyes and Nath chuckled slightly as I took our cups and put them in the dishwasher. “Let’s go!” Tom chimed and we all headed out to the car. “We’re doubling up again” Max grinned, “Oh good” Nath said, “That’s not fair, I’ll squash him!” I protested, “Not my problem” He shrugged. “Sorry” I giggled to Nath, “No worries, I'm the reason for it anyway” he chuckled. We all climbed in and Siva drove again. “Why did you all come here anyway?” I asked and they all looked between each other then shrugged and we all laughed.

We pulled into the boys driveway and all climbed out, “Have your legs gone dead?” I laughed at Nath as he jumped out the car and stretched his legs out. “Not at all” he laughed, “My bad” I giggled. We all headed into the house and straight through to the back garden where the pool building is.

We all slipped off our clothes so we were in just our swimwear and all jumped in except me who just sat in the shallower end where there was a ledge to sit on where I could just kick my feet about, relax and watch the others which I was happy to do.

The others started messing around pushing each other underwater and throwing each other etc. Nath swam over to me and perched next to me, “Not coming for a swim?” he asked, “I need to be careful” I sighed, “Besides, I probably cant even swim with this extra weight anymore” I laughed and Nath chuckled, “Just come with me?” he offered, holding out his hand. I gave in and took his hand but he pulled my onto his back instead and swam over to the others in the deeper end where none of us could properly touch the floor.

“Mummy and daddy are here!” Max grinned and me and Nath just froze where we were. Neither of us had properly thought about the fact that that’s what  we were going to be called. But it didn’t take long before we both un-tensed and actually smiled, “We’re going to be mummy and daddy” Nath grinned, “We are!” I grinned back and he wrapped me in a massive hug which I happily returned of course. The others all ‘Aww’d’ and laughed, watching us.

We then spent a while swimming around casually and joining in with some of the games such as piggy in the middle and other random games they were playing.

Me and Nath then got out and sat on the lounger chairs that were around the pool for a while just watching the others. “Come with me” Nath said and grabbed my hand, taking me into the garden and over to a large hammock where he climbed in and gestured for me to join him. I looked at him hesitantly, “Yes it will hold your weight” he chuckled, reading my thoughts, “Sure?” I asked, “Positive” he smiled and held out his hand, helping me up.

He was sat laying propped up against the edge of the hammock and I was sat between his legs, leaning back on him and he had his hands rested on my bump. “So why did you bring me out here?” I asked placing my hands over his on my belly and entwining our fingers, “I just wanted to talk without the noise that’s in there” he said, pointing towards the pool house. “About what?” I asked, “Well we need to sort out baby stuff, we haven’t thought of names yet and we also need to think about buying everything” he said, “Well what names do you like?” I asked, “Boy or girl?” he asked “Both” I shrugged.

“I like Aria for a girl?” he suggested, “Aria Sykes” I repeated, “My sir name?” Nath asked, surprised, “Of course” I smiled and he grinned. “Aria may Sykes is pretty” I suggested, “Yeah it is” he agreed. “I like Jessica-Leigh?” I suggested, “My sisters called Jess” he said. “How about Imogen?” I suggested, “I want something not too common, y’know?” Nath said. I nodded and we thought for a bit longer before Nath said, “Perrie” I looked up at him and we both grinned, “Perrie Jessica Louise Sykes” I suggested, “Why Jessica and Louise?” Nath asked, “I like the name Jessica and my middle name is Louise” I shrugged. “Perrie Jessica Louise Sykes” he repeated, “I love it!” I gushed, “Me too! It’s settled then. Perrie for a girl” Nath grinned.

“What about a boy?” I asked, “I Like Lucas” We both said at the same time making us laugh, “I also like Noah” Nath suggested, “Or Alfie” I said, “That sound like a dog” Nath chuckled, “Fine then” I said in mock offence. “I like Charlie too” I suggested, “I like Oliver or Lucas” Nath said, “Lucas Sykes. Oliver Sykes” we both sat in silence as we thought about it. “I like Oliver best” Nath said and I nodded in agreement. “Oliver James Sykes?” I suggested, “Oliver James Harry Sykes” Nath said, “Harry?” I asked, “It’s my dad’s name” he smiled. “So Perrie Jessica Louise Sykes for a girl and Oliver James Harry Sykes for a boy?” Nath asked, “Yep” I grinned. “Let’s not tell the others though, I wanna keep it a surprise” I said, “Okay” Nath agreed and we both grinned at each other.
