What is it?
The dictionary says it's something one will do
I say it's words people tend to lie
I don't trust them
They usually are broken
I try not to make them
Cause I know I'll probably break them
But I'll promise one thing
I promise
That I'll break a promise
There's a lot I won't promise though
I won't promise I'll always try my best
Some days u just don't want to
I won't promise I'll be on time
Stuff happens and I'll be late
I won't promise I'll always remember to call
There's times I forget or just don't want to talk
I won't promise I won't leave you
Cause the at least a one percent change that I will
So you promise?
Well I don't believe you
I don't believe that you will always be there
One day you'll be busy and I won't matter
I don't believe that you will always care
One day you'll be distracted and won't litsen to what I'm saying
I don't believe that you will always love
One day you'll be so mad at me you'll say that you hate me
So a promise
