Since that day, Destery and I became closer. Not as close as Kay, Han, and me, but closer than we were. We talk every day and he tries to flirt with me. Kay and I go to his Friday games whenever there is home games. We had gotten into a routine and before I knew it, it was in the middle of October.

"You're coming to the big game tonight, right?" Des asked me as we walked into gym. The football team was undefeated as of right now. If they win this game they go to states.

"Yup, Kay and I always come to your Friday night games. I won't miss this one for nothing." I said smiling.

"Good! You better come Ads." He replied. By then we had reached the locker rooms. Just as we parted I turned and said, "Don't call me Ads."

"Whatever you say Ads." He laughed and walked into the room. I walked into the girl's locker room and went over to Han.

"Hey Han." I said opening my locker next to hers.

            "Hello Mrs. West." She snickered.

"Not even funny." I narrowed my eyes.

"It was kinda. You two are hanging out a lot in school. More than I thought you would be." She replied. I notice she seemed sad and a little jealous.

"Han, you're still my best friend. No matter how much I hang with Des, that won't change one bit." I said as I hugged her. She hugged back before replying.

"I know, but still. You two were best friends before I came here. You two might get that close again."

"Des will NEVER and I mean NEVER be a better friend than you Han. I trust you way more than I ever will with him." I smiled.

She sighed before commenting. "Ok Addie. We should get ready for gym."

We finished getting dressed and went to the gym. When we entered we saw Kay and walked to him. He was standing next to Chris, who also had gym with us.

"Hey Kay and Christopher." I said hugging Kay.

"Hiya pinky." Kay kissed my cheek.

"Hello Adeline." Chris said like something was wrong.

"You ok Chris?" Han asked noticing it too.

"Yes, Hannah I'm fine." He replied with a small smile.

"Ok, just checking." She smiled back.

"Heylo people. How are you all?" I turned as saw Des walk up to us. He came up to me and put his arm on my shoulder, I just shrugged him off.

"Hey Ads." He complained with a smirk.

"Des I've told you for the last month and a half, DON'T CALL ME ADS!!" I said narrowing my eyes. I was really starting to get annoyed.

"Why not? Ads." He just smirked.

"Private reasons that are none of your business." I said walking away.

"Hey, wait, wait!! I'm sorry ok." He came up to me and looked me in my eyes.

"Yeah whatever." I walked away again. Kay and Han followed me, leaving Chris and Des behind.
