(Chapter 44) The End

~Emma's POV~

The blizzard was getting stronger by the minute, and I still couldn't find my way back to the castle, I needed to save him

After all this time I always loved him, and he loves me, I needed to show him that I love him, and love him enough to come back to him

While I was looking around for the castle I saw a figure, it looked like a girl that was my age, when the figure came closer enough for me to see who it was

It was Veronica

I gasped and was about to run from her

"Emma!!! You can't run from all this!!!", she said

She's right, I can run away from villains, I can run from my stupid father, I can run from the law, but this I can't escape

I realized that the more I try finding my way to him, I might put him in more danger

I turned around and said,"Just take care of Henry and the people for me!!!"

"Henry!!? He returned from the mountain weak and cold!! He said you froze his heart!!", she said

"What?", I said

"I tried to save him but it was too late!! His skin was ice his hair turned white!!! HENRY'S DEAD!!! BECAUSE OF YOU!!!", she said

My heart shattered into many pieces inside, before I collapsed to the ground she said

"But I can help you forget all this!!", she said

"How!?", I said while crying

She took out an apple from her pouch

"Take one bite of this apple, and all this will go away! It'll all be just a dream! A nightmare that never existed!", she said

I took a bite of it, then I felt funny, soon after I bit into it, the inside of it turned into green, the outside turned into dark-green, and the top turned black, the apple then turned into black magical dust

Soon I saw a grin on Veronica's face, I realized that she left Henry to die, she never loved him, and this apple would kill me

"You", I said angrily

"Your the Black Lucy, your friends never abandoned you, you left Henry to die, and after all this time you wanted the throne", I said

"And now you've killed me", I said

"Not really", she said

"What do you mean?", I said

"I only made you numb from head to toe, after being numb you'll pass out but for only a few seconds, then that would give me time to kill you, and with you feeling numb you won't feel a thing", she said

Then after that I passed out, and the last thing I saw before going unconscious was the blizzard fadding away, along with Veronica pulling out a dagger

~Henry's POV~

I saw that the blizzard faded away, when I opened my eyes I felt my face, it was ice, I had ice all over me

Then I saw Ray with the cure in his hands

"Ray?", I said

"Henry", I heard him whisper

He started running towards me while I was using the amount of strength I still had left in me to get to him

Soon I heard something that sounded like a sword being pulled out
