'Get me with those green eyes, baby,

As the lights go down.

Gimme something that'll haunt me

When you're not around.'

Jack:

As soon as we got back to the hotel room after our panel, I ran into the bathroom. Mark groaned in frustration that he hadn't been fast enough to get a shower first. I stuck my tongue out at him, shutting the door.

As I stripped my clothes off, I couldn't help but smile as I remembered the events from earlier that night. All the times Mark had hugged me, or even just touched me, it felt as if my whole body was on fire.

I stepped into the steaming shower, letting the water cascade down my body. I let out a sigh of relief as my muscles relaxed under it.

I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed when Mark had rejected my proposal. I know it was all a joke, but it felt like he was confirming that he didn't have any feelings for me, when I so desperately wanted him.

The knock on the door startled me, and I clutched my chest in shock. Mark shouted at me to hurry up, so I did a last quick rinse before stepping out of the shower. I quickly dry myself, and shake the water out of my hair with a towel. I look down and see that my clothes were still in the other room.

I let out a sigh as I wrap my towel around my torso and step out of the steamy bathroom. I shiver at the sudden drop in temperature, and then start to look around the room for my bag.

"Jack, you done?" Mark asks as he comes into view. I freeze in my spot, hunched over my bag and look up at him expectantly. Mark's mouth gapes open slightly, and I smirk, knowing I was getting this reaction out of him.

"Yeah, I'm done." I raise my eyebrows, picking out my sweatpants and oversized sweatshirt. Mark nods, coughing and looking away as he makes his way to the bathroom. I let out a chuckle at his stunned reaction.

"Do ye want me ta order in room service again?" I ask him loudly, starting to get dressed as I wait for his response.

"Yeah." Mark calls back as the water turns on, signaling his shower. I call in for food while he was busy, ordering both of our favorites. It surprises me slightly that I knew his exact order. But I am his best friend, after all.

/And I have a crush on him./

I roll my eyes at my last thought as I hang up the phone. I pick up the remote, flipping through the channels mindlessly. I decide to watch 'Friends' since it was pretty much the only thing on that wasn't a reality show.

The door opened, and Mark came out with a dark long sleeved shirt and grey sweatpants. I swear I started drooling.

"When's food arriving?" Mark asks nonchalantly as he dries his hair off with the towel.

"'Bout twenty minutes." I reply, trying to focus on the television instead of Mark's muscles contracting under his shirt. I gulp, turning up the volume.

"Ooh, Friends!" Mark realizes what tv show I'm watching and jumps onto the bed with me. The mattress bounces up as he makes contact with it, throwing me almost on top of him. I laugh nervously, rolling off him.

The food eventually comes, and we dig in almost immediately. I moan in exasperation as I bite into my food. Mark looks at me, biting his lip. I blushed, looking down.

We finish our food pretty quickly, and continue to watch Friends. We lay on our backs, our legs and arms pressed together. I try to control my breathing as my heart raced loudly against my chest.

I tilt my head slightly to see Mark looking at me. I notice something in his eyes...Could it be desire? God, I pray for it to be desire and want.

My eyes flicker to his lips, and our bodies lean towards each other so that I'm pressed tightly against him.

The knock on the door pulls us out of our trance, and I jump about a foot in the air. Mark lets out a small gasp, and gets up to see who it is.

"It's Felix." Mark tells me, his voice deep and raspy. I thought I heard a little impatience in his voice.

Mark opens the door to a smiling and perky Felix.

"Hey, guys!" Felix strides into the room with a grin on his face, and I give him a weak one back.

"What's up?" Mark asks, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Just wanted to hang. I'm so bored." Felix collapsed on the other bed beside me, and Mark and I shared a look. Mark smirks slightly, and I'm sure I looked as red as a tomato.

"What're you guys watchin'?" Felix asks eagerly. We make small talk for about another hour, and eventually we all end up quietly on our phones.

It's about eleven at night now, and I look over and notice that Felix has passed out on the bed I slept in last night.

"Um, we may have a problem..." I say, referring to Felix. "Should we wake him?"

"Nah, he looks pretty peaceful." Mark shrugs, sitting next to me on the bed.

"Well, then where will you sleep?"

"I can sleep on the couch." Mark suggests, and starts to get up, but I grab him, pulling him back down.

"Or we could share the bed?" I ask hesitantly, and Mark's eyes light up.

"All right." Mark says eagerly, and I get up to turn off the lights. I crawl back into the bed, excitedly.

The bed was relatively big, but we still ended up with our bodies almost touching. I roll on my side, closing my eyes with a small smile on my face.

Mark lays on his back, his breathing soft. After a ten minutes of trying to fall asleep, I sigh. I turn towards Mark, and he immediately wraps an arm around my waist. My heart beat immediately spikes, and my head rests on his chest.

And I can't stop thinking about how right this feels.
