"Have you ever thought about... you know... stopping and all?" Hopkins asked without turning his eyes off the streets. Clark frowned, raising her face from the CD's of the robbed car. He could feel her confused gaze upon his face, so he kept driving. Ignore her, man.

"Stopping...?"

"With the robbing and all, I mean," he sighed, finally glancing towards her. Clark was confused. Of course she wouldn't understand. Hopkins let an annoyed sigh escape. "Live a normal life without gunshots, or the threat of losing a fucking eye. Never thought about that?"

Hopkins pressed the wheel until his knuckles turned white, waiting for her answer. A few moments later, Clark chuckled, throwing the CD's on the floor. The mischievous look was there again. "Don't tell me you're having one of those suburban feelings again, Liam."

Hopkins sighed one last time, not daring to look at her.

"Yeah. Maybe I am, Clark."
